Nothing to do with FIFA but I'm not creating a new thread. Anyone play battlefield at all
yes pre order it ages ago from Play and can't wait. Beta is quality but has no vehicles and is action packed.
As for Amazon i hate them. they send me an e-mail today saying they can't send me fifa 12 due to the fact payment can't me authorized. fair enough but why send it to me a day before the game comes out? any way I've cut my loses and am going to elmers end Tesco to buy it in 40 mins.
I got a big dilemma................. FIFA12 arrived in the post this morning from amazon. This shocked me as I haven't even ordered it!!!
I looked at the address and it's for No21 (I live at 31). I am meaning to buy it anyway, so do I gratefully accept this bonus gift from my dumb-ass postman or take it to the correct address?
I'm torn as to what to do, but one thing's for sure........I'm gonna have a game. If I decide to give it to the rightful owner, I'll just say I assumed my son ordered it (he's only 11 but they don't know that hopefully).

Ah mate you gotta give it to the rightful owner, they're probably dead excited!
That's the thing. I put myself in their shoes. I'd probably be hanging around waiting for it. He probably saw the postie walk past and thought F**k that Amazon.
I've made my mind up. As I have yet to remove the cellophane wrapper, I'm going there now to hand it back to them...............then I might pop into town and buy my own copy (if not sold out).

Defo the right thing to do, if it was a complete error and was someones a road away then i wouldnt bother but whats the saying dont s**t on your back door? (Excuse the swearing)
I have now delivered it. It was for a kid so I'm glad I took it back. His mum said he was dead excited about this coming and didn't want to go to school today.
I'm a believer in karma so hope the ying/yang thing works (although it would have been instant karma if the boys mum would have thanked me by inviting me in for a urm, coffee. ;-). )
Made Bover, Gough, Smith and Kermongant, made sure all our players had the right shirts, assigned the stadia the correct names for all the English clubs and played one game.
I thought about this one for a while, initially I thought I’d be very tempted to keep it as the kid wouldn’t lose out financially and just get it resent by amazon after a while, but the issue is he’s pre-ordered as he obviously wants it first day and you'd be causing him quite a disappointment.
I think you also have to wait quite a while after the delivery date has passed before you’re entitled to have another one sent to you by amazon. So he’d have to deal with all his mates getting theirs and his not coming for quite some time, after all the hype has died down. I think you did the right thing and you should feel good about yourself Sir!

Seems Sainsburys does best deal where I can go buy one today, £28.99 when you spend £30 in store, shall go down there and pick up a few crates of beer for the £30. Am I right in thinking this is only the standard version though? If I want the ultimate edition with extra gold packs for FUT - I would have had to have pre-ordered already at around £40ish or now fork out the £55 RRP now for the ultimate edition full price?
This Fifa is the least-changed iteration of a football game I've seen in years. Apart form the defending and the slightly more nuanced dribbling (which means there are hardly any fouls, which is great). There are some little fixes, like taking a quick throw in, which are really nice. But I wouldn't be TOO excited about going home to play it - it's just not that much different!!
Playing as Charlton on World Class is infuriating - getting the players to pass anywhere over 10 yards is almost impossible! It's like lower league players don't know how to kick the ball hard...

SCP has built a good team in real life and in FIFA12! Shame about Stephens being a 5'7, they must have got that from wikipedia. BWP is a goal machine.

Might start my career mode now.
