  • Hamer is the best goalkeeper I have seen play for us for sometime. However I thought his reaction about the goal on Monday was unusual, I have not seen him chase after the referee  like that before. I have not seen the tv replays though to see if he was impeded.

On the night I am sure I saw a push on him, and I was sitting in line with him. He confronted the ref at the final whistle too. But try as I might, I cant pick up a push on the video highlights.. But then again that is on a computer, which is poor quality, despite the claims made for it.
  • 2-1 charlton with jacko and taylor scoring :-)
  • 4-1 Jackson (25), BWP (42), Wagstaff (15, 75)
  • You lot are a confident bunch, fair play.

It'll be interesting to see how this team 'bounces back' from the relative disappointment of the Sheffield W result.

Exeter are a passing side so we shouldn't get drawn into a hit and hope game like the last quarter of Monday night's 1-1.

I'll go 2-1 to us. Stephens from distance and a Morrison header. Think it'll be tight though. COYR!!
  • Good preview HI.

I would like to think that we are looking to get back to winning ways at home after 2 draws and if we play as well as we have been on the road then 3-0 to us.

I'll be back doing the match thread which will ko about 2 pm.

  • Thanks Red.

Having seen a classy side looking like champions overawe Bournemouth on the first day, then drop 4 points in 6 at home I'm trying not to get that "here we go again" feeling.  A confident win, 2-0 at least.  A point will be a grim disappointment and anything else is not an option.
  • We will be being thrashed 5-2 before we come back to win 7-6
  • We need to get our home form in order if we want to up, I know it's early days but we can do better, so today I think we will.
  • Can't help but think that when we play a team on a poor run of form at home, something's got to go wrong!

Come on lads, show me that things have changed this season.

As mentioned by others, I still expect to see Jason Euell brought on for a last nervy 10 minutes whatever the score!

    COYR

Just back from Rome on a very delayed flight. This game had better be a good one!  But if it's dire, I suppose we can catch up on some sleep. I really don't have any 'feel' for our team yet other than we can play stunningly well, but.............  & noticeably, it's the buts that are beginning to dominate the comments.  I very much agree that we really do need this to be a good win.

  • Bover's Twitter account may be suggesting that he could be in the squad today.

Fancy us to win 3-1 but will be tight.
