  • Any idea how Bradley Pritchard performed?
He had a couple of chances to score (cafc twitter).

Looking forward to a report or two from those that were there.
  • Well I would like to think a new RB, another CB and another ST will be here to choose from too, I'm glad I'm not in Powell's shoes, looks like we will have a full quota of players looking to start

I tend to agree with that team too.

Now name the seven subs you wheel out to warn the starters how lucky they are to be in the first team.

I reckon you pick Robbie and point to Sullivan as a warning.

Any others e.g. Green v Waggy?

Alonso has a chance to fill a CM spot.

Benson or Hayes to partner BWP may come down to who does best this pre-season. I don't think Hayes is a shoo-in.
  • Derby day pride
  • Derby day pride
  • Powell spoke very Highly of Hayes when we signed him so I would expect him to start!
  • Anyone know how Anderson did?

3-0 good result and I think CP is going to have a god squad to choose from!
  • musnt grumble!
  • Just on the 96 coming away from the ground. The second half we dominated ,but I feel this was partly due to the fact that Welling tired after the break.
Danny Green looks superb and his delivery was excellant.I liked both new cb's Morrison and Taylor and the German triallist Anderson who played left back in the 2nd half.
Good free kick from Hollands for Morrson's goal and Williams loked good. up front.

All the other players did ok and it was a good day out.

  • Wasn't massively impressed with Anderson but it's hard to tell seeing someone in the first game of the season.

Liked Ruben-Bover, looked very good on the ball and went all over the pitch looking for it.

Surprised how small Pritchard was, looked tiny in the middle but decent on the ball.

Green looked quality, something happened whenever he had the ball. The new Jonny Robinson?

  • Sounds good, Richard.  Thanks for the summary.

  • ..and thanks CWBH too.
  • Thanks RJ and CWBH
  • Thanks to RJ and CWBH and to all those thanking RJ and CWBH ;0)
  • Stephens will be the player dropping in & receiving it in the midfield. Impressed with him.

Warren(2) was another stand out in the 1st half.

Green looks quality as did Morrison.

Pritchard looked tidy, thought Bover was trying too hard. Willing to receive but gave it away a bit too much.

Good 2nd half, kept ball well.

Looks promising and looks like they'll be healthy competition for places all over the pitch.

  • Looked like a team of strangers in the first half. Pluses were Taylor and Hayes.

Better 2nd half. Impressed with Morrison. Hollands looks a proper footballer.

We all knew Green was a big signing. He is going to be massive for us this year.

Cant share the enthusiasm for Bover, looked very light weight. Welling guys sitting along from me liked Warren. Thought he did ok.

    Nothing special from Stephens.

Mambo looked hopeless. All over the shop.

    Blue jacket little fat prick.

If your reading would love to lay you out.

Your arse is big enough to make up the difference, Clem?

Maybe, but don't tell the taxman.
  • What's the general opinion of Sam Williams the trialist ? Worth a look or move on ?

You can't just leave it at that Cray.  Please tell us why. Was it the blue jacket you didn't like or his little fat prick?
  • Sign him up :)
    2313 attendance not bad

Plus all of those who couldn't be bothered to leave the Guy Earl of Warwick
  • always hard to rate a trialist striker as he wouldn't really know his partner but he took his goal well and calmly didn't participate to much in build up but he did enough to keep himself on trial imo.
