  • Thanks Clem_Snide I was just about to ask who 'Williams' was, having seen the Twitter thread.
  • Guess McCormack is off then, gutting.
  • Shocking stats
  • Sam Williams "prolific" striker released by Yeovil playing 2nd half.

70 apps 6 goals tells me you was being sarcastic!!
  • He's 6 foot 1, born in Greenwich so continues a theme of footballers 'coming back home' if he was to sign
  • May I be the 1st to say he is shit :)
  • Well if he's over 6 ft then it's an ok signing I think.

  • 13 goals in 105 appearances. Not very impressive.

    Is 6'1" enough though?!
  • Doherty 2nd half captain, probably because everyone else is so new!
  • Williams scores - 1-0
  • Sign him up :)

  • CAFC twitter got this wrong, seems Andrew Williams scored against us, not Sam
  • Was from outside the area at the Jimmy Seed end of the ground. Went in off the bottom of Elliot's right hand post.
  • yeah ball played to him from the letf  he took it in this path and fired home inside elliotts near post from outside the area! was good goal
  • it was sam who scored at the valley im sure of it!!
  • That's more like it, then, obviously. Groan
  • So Sam was the one who told the referee and the press after the game that there wasn't any intent in the challenge but Dailly's appeal was still unsuccessful?
  • sounds like yeovil had to many "BILLS" to be able to keep sam! ;-D

I do hope you have your coat....
  • The goal was officially credited to Andy anyway. Maybe it was Sam that scored it. Perhaps that's why his goal scoring stats are so rubbish? He's actually a 20 a season man, but most of his goals end up getting credited to Andy or Gavin by mistake.
Deffo Andy, he wore 7 last season, Sam wore 9
