What are the best or funniest songs/chants you have heard at Football.

Couple of faves:

The bouncy- from the East Stand, when lots start doing it, it looks awesome.
"Thursday nights, Channel 5"- West Ham to Liverpool last season when they failed to get into Champ League.
To tune of He's better than Shaun- "You know she said no, you know she said No oo, Titus Bramble, you know she said no" Newcastle singing this on the train after Bramble was arrested

To tune of Craig David - Rewind after RVP got arrested for rape
  • I love songs that mock rape.
  • Rangers - Theres only 2 Andy Gorams
    Charlton - Oh Andy Hunt
Everyone to Brighton - We can see you holding hands.

    I love sarcastic comments...
  • Jason Euell Spandau Ballet - Gold
  • You only sing when you're rimming.
  • [cite]Posted By: Greenie[/cite]Rangers - Theres only 2 Andy Gorams
    Charlton - Oh Andy Hunt
Everyone to Brighton - We can see you holding hands.

Brighton to Everyone - You're too ugly to be gay.
  • Us to liverpool. Was it you that nicked our roof
  • "You're not fit to referee" when the ref's being carried off on a stretcher.
  • I love the funeral march followed by "SHIT" when the opposition have a player down making the most of it.

  • I love the "4-3, We're going to win 4-3" when you're 3-0 down with 5 minutes to go.

and "Who are yer" sung to any of the top Prem clubs by the likes of Stoke.
  • Yeovil last season:

"Down with pneumonia. We're going down with pneumonia."
  • "Stayed on the telly
You should have stayed on the telly " (to shearer as newcastle boss)
"You only live round the corner!"
Fulham fans to Man Utd during the 2-0 win.
  • "Taxi for Maicon".....Spurs fans after Gareth Bale had run past him for the umpteenth time in the Champions League game.

You're just a fat Steven Gerrard...at Neil Mellor during the away match at hillsborough in January, was funny.

Man U sing "we're Man Utd we'll do what we want". At Anfield last weekend I enjoyed the scousers singing "you're Man Utd, you'll do as you're told" when they were 3-1 up.
  • in our last year in the prem, at home to united " live round the corner you only live round the corner"

"You're just a sh*t Chas n Dave" - sung by the Spurs fans in the Park Lane and Shelf at Noel Gallagher, who was in one of the exec boxes on the Shelf, who started giving it the biggun on the balcony... then Krancjar scored to make it 3-0 and he disappeared from sight.

(Have to say the Andy Hunt song still cracks me up now...how many years ago was that?)
  • Missed this game, but when we played City one year and the Covered End sung "Englands number 2- up to England Number 17" at David James made me laugh.
  • Many years ago when away supporters used to collect on the left of the East Terrace, we were 5-0 up, can't remember against, perhaps Oldaham, and they scored with 5 minutes to go, and the small group of fans sang...'we're only warming up, only warming up, eye aye addio, we're only warming up'
  • I think a number of clubs have done this one but I have never seen it done better than at Southend.

    When 1-0 down

"Lets pretend lets pretend lets pretend we've scored a goal"

    Cue crowd go mental.

    five minutes later

"Lets pretend lets pretens lets pretend we've scored again"

    Crown go mental again.

folowed by 10 minutes of "2-1 to the southend" and "you only sing when youre winning" etc.
  • 'When you'rrrrrrrrrrre sat in row Z and the ball hits your head that's Zamoraaaaaaaaaaaa'

    Always makes me laugh.

  • Lived in Nottingham 1992-1994, went to watch Mansfield v Chester, It was the (first?) season Chester dropped out of the league. Anyway, stood with the away fans, who came up with both my favourite football chants of all time!
    1) About the Chester manager.... "Graham Barrow's blue and white circus" followed by the big top music
    2) To Mansfield keeper Jason Piercy..." Who's had Piercy's wife?, who's had Piercy's wife? every every everyone"
  • We'll race you back to London - Man U away

    Woolwich Rejects - at Arsenal
