Bradley Wright Philips was supposed to deliver mine, but having delivered more than Abbott & Benson together in half the time Chris Powell told him to take a rest ..................I have been told I might get it next week when his knee is better.
The entire Charlton side were supposed to be delivering mine. Unfortunately I never received it as they dropped it whilst trying to pass it to each other on the way to my house. On reflection, I reckon it would probably have had more chance of arriving if they'd just tried to boot it through my letter box from the sorting office car park.
Arrived in west london on Monday...was a swap deal with a Phillipino goalkeeper. Not sure whether to get one now or until i know where/if ill be working next season.
got mine today from our new postie, got chatting he used to run a company near norwood junction station but fell on hard times so is doing some temp work for the royal mail.
Arrived Sat morn returned Sat afternoon. You have to take the rough with the smooth or you may as well become one of the growing masses of armchair southern Man UTD fans.
not sure why i was removed from the marketing list as had a season ticket for 10 yrs before i worked for the club but never got added back onto the system after i left. didn't get a voicemail from keith or a post card from Powell or a season ticket pack for the past 3 years :-(
I reckon it'll be a slow take up at reduced prices.
After the prices go up & we start signing some decent players, the waiverers will start to renew at the higher price :-)
I'm very much in two minds at the moment. It's not so much about the quality of the football, and more about my ability to actually make it to games. Since we've moved away from 8pm kick-offs, midweek games are a non-starter for me, and I've had to miss several weekend games due to work / illness. While I don't mind paying a bit extra to secure a decent seat, effectively paying double is another matter entirely.

I suspect that if the prices go up with us staying in this division there will be a lot of fans that choose to pay as they go. With is in mind I'd be very surprised if the club raise the prices.
If they are very confident that we will be challenging right up to the end of next season then that's one thing, but I'm guessing that there are thousands on the 'official' gate now that are season ticket holders that are either not there, or wouldn't be if they hadn't already paid.
Time will tell, but despite my fears in the past the club have managed to sell significantly more tickets than I thought they would, so that suggests that I, actually, have no idea what I'm talking about.

Hmm let's see... how tempted am I to part with £375 today?
About as tempted as I am to hack my arm off
They offered to send it with a brilliant but small Argentinian, but I thought that would be a little messy.
Got mine
Now do i or dont i ?
Talking of plastic... lol!
Couldnt imagine not being their for our Championship winning season.
Tempted to put it back in the letterbox with addresse gone away scribbled on it!
Received 2 for our u11 grandkids' seats though. Hardly used this season but we'll need them when we're in Europe so best renew.....
