[cite]Posted By: Henry Irving[/cite]Oh look we won again so with nothing on the pitch to moan about we've got another storm in a tea cup thread about a teenagers unguarded comments on twitter.
"Player unhappy about not starting and moans to mates about it shock"
"Young people use slang surprise"
Meanwhile back in the real world..
IF this is football related which it looks like it is then....
i think its great that he wants to play but at least show CP a bit more respect and talk to him first.
First of all you have absolutely no idea what he was moaning about (like everyone else on here). So you all lay into him then say he should show CP a bit more respect by talking to him first. I'm assuming CP called you and said he hadn't spoken to him first?
And you say he should show some class!.....What the same sort of class shown by many on here over a comment they know nothing about....Real Class
wasnt the tweet like 45 minutes after the game? seeing as CP does media in that time i doubt he spoke to him. Plus i started my sentence 'IF this is football related'.
I hate the faux gangsta talk and kissing teeth etc in "real" life but to be honest if i was judged as a person or professionally by my warblings on here or my banal facebook comments I'd probably have no job and no mates.
He's a young guy and it's his private (ish) thoughts and off the cuff comments on a social medium. He's not doing it publicly in a professional capacity ie in a newspaper interview or press conference and think he deserves a break.
Imagine if facebook/ twitter had existed and been accessible in the days of Killer Hales,....I can imagine a few booze- fuelled rants may have pissed of a few fans back then.
He's not hurt anyone, mugged off any fans or the club and they are only words.
If he plays with the commitment he showed on his debut and his goals help us climb the table I couldnt care less if he makes Dizzee Rascal sound like the editor of the Oxford Dictionary.
He's a Charlton player not a role model or a heralded pillar of the community. Chill.

NE Is a mug. Anyone who uses KMT has an attitude problem... END OF.
He saw the stick he was getting on twitter for bitching and then put a tweet on saying " people take things the wrong way" or whatever he wrote, as a way to back down from what he said after the game. He knows he was bitching about being benched, and knew he was wrong to complain.

Who cares. If he does well on the pitch (and he has so far) then he can bitch every day for all i care.
Jarman I don't care if he kisses his teeth so much he needs a bloody 24 hour chapstick if he gets on the pitch, runs about, puts a shift in and scores some goals he can do whatever he likes. He isn't a role model, he's a (barely) 20 year old bloke.

Brilliant! That made me laugh in a silent study room....i got some weird looks!
However, it looks like Ansah plus possibly Ventoleke may be players in the same mould so there are likely to be other areas of the team that need focus.
Eccleston. Seems more interested in portraying his life on social media than being a pro. 2 apps for Liverpool, 9 for Blackpool and 6 loan moves in between. What a waste and although I saw some potential, I think he pretty much epitomizes many of today's young pro's.
Since he left us he has played 31 games for Rochdale, Carlisle, Coventry, Tranmere and Blackpool scoring 2 goals and started just 10 League matches in three and a half years.
It's not as if he has had enough time to make a name for himself. To date though he seems to have achieved more via social media than he has on the football pitch.
Here we have a perfect setting to observe a very strange phenomenon which occurs in South East London and has baffled scientists since 1905. It's name? "Charltonisation".
looks very sharp, the way he chased the fella back and then got straight on the through ball to score was bloody impressive, drove straight at both the defenders and forced his way through.
To avoid this horrible predicament action must be taken fast, the first potential solution to this problem is to support a different football club. However, if that isn't possible you must simply learn to never get impressed or expect anything other than mediocrity.

Thanks for listening, and stay safe.
I wouldn't mind the truth every now and then, you know
