[cite]Posted By: ISawLeaburnScore[/cite]What he has to do to get a start in this shower is beyond me... immature to be ranting on twitter but he's probably totally lost it now
THIS - he plays for Liverpool FFS yet can't get a start in a poor League 1 side, no wonder he's frustrated, let's see if we can get Steven Gerrard on loan and then start McOxo & Racon ahead of him.
He doesn't play for Liverpool, he plays for Liverpool reserves. Plenty of players have played a couple of games for United/Chelsea/Liverpool over the years and gone on to have very average careers.
He's not as good as BWP, so he could only play instead of Waggy. However, he offers a lot less protection to the full back than Waggy does.
It is part of the modern game for wingers to have to help out in defence. If a winger can't defend, you need to mould the team in a way that someone can help the full back.
If this moron had any balls he would NOT be bitching on twitter so often & would actually say something to Powell. As a player he looks alright, but the attitude of this kid is unreal. Get shot of him first this summer!
[cite]Posted By: Ross[/cite]Errr he's on loan Jarman...
LoL!! Job done!!
Great isn't it, Benson slated for leaving twitter, NE39 slated for being on twitter. The great CL thought police, demanding players are on twitter but only tweet what the fans want them to.

[cite]Posted By: Scoham[/cite] Only way I can see both him and BWP starting is in a 4-3-3, but that goes back to what we were saying weeks ago, do we have the players for that formation? Is now the time to be experimenting with a formation that in reality we probably need at least 2/3 of the right signings for?
We could try a front 3 of Eccleston, BWP and either Wagstaff or Anyinsah. BWP can stay central and Eccelston and Wagstaff/Anyinsah can interchange and play either side. We could then pick a midfield 3 from Semedo, Parrett, Stewart and Racon. It might not work but it can't do any worse than the sh*t we're turning out at the moment.
if we're not going to play Eccleston we might as well send him back. Feel sorry for the lad miles from home, he's done well in the time he's had on the pitch but we don't play him. Liverpool might as well recall him and send him on loan to Tranmere. At least then he'd be closer to home and get games.
[cite]Posted By: Scoham[/cite]I'd be happy to see that given a go, but it still has the weakness of no height and physical presence up front.
It depends how the side plays, if we played it on the ground it wouldn't be an issue. the likes of Parrett, Racon, Eccleston, BWP and Anyinsah are decent enough players to play it on the ground surely?
People love assumptions. We assume that he hasn't spoke to Powell about his disappointment. We assume Liverpool sent him to us for match practice. We assume Liverpool made not attempt to agree how much he would be played. We assume Liverpool are annoyed about his lack of games. We assume Liverpool haven’t thought to recall him like Fulham did.
How about this for a theory. Liverpool realise his ego does not match his talent and in order to bring him down a peg or two they have shipped him to a league one club and made no agreements to the number of games he must play. Then once they see he is getting upset and not playing they don't bother to recall him as they want him to grow as an individual.
It is obvious that Liverpool can teach him about the game of football better than we can. Maybe he is here to learn a personality lesson that no amount of training could have taught?
[cite]Posted By: DRF[/cite]they want him to grow as an individual.
Which is what part of going out on loan and living away from home is about. Just ask Elliot or Waggy.
Exactly. If I had heard reports of either of them bitching and moaning about not being selected I would have been very disappointed in them and beleived they were damaging the reputation of the club.

He's got to want to play. I'm not even all that sure that what he has said is unacceptable. He says a lot of things that give me the right impression. I would even go as far as to say it's his personal crcumstances that are bothering him rather that his lack of first team action.
It just seems a waste of time him being here when he could be playing in the first team elsewhere.
I doubt that Liverpool are unable to give him attitude training, I can't see them sending him to us to teach him a lesson, personally.

Or maybe he thinks BECAUSE he plays for Liverpool he should be a shoe-in in a League 1 side. Sounds to me like his sense of entitlement is greater than the effort he's putting in to EARN his place. He's got to show he's better than BWP if he wants to play up front, because they can't play together, and whilst BWP is scoring for fun thats going to be a challenge.
I think Nathan probably was Parky's last suggested signing , which demonstrates IMHO that BWP was not on our radar until Powell came in.
When BWP became available after failing his medical at Reading I suspect it was Powell's influence that encouraged him to sign . I don't think he would have come to play for Parky. If it hadn't been for BWP and his goals I think we would be further down the table .
This meant we had two very similar players and as Oggy says BWP will always get the nod

I totally disagree.
There are steps you can take, discussed it with the loanee manager, discuss it with your club manager, discuss it with your agent, freinds, teammates, whatever.Just do not go onto a public forum and bitch to the world at large.
You are a representative of your home club, make them proud of ALL your actions, on and off the pitch. Thisis what will progress your career.

Kind of like a boot camp. Except the boots are clown's.
And there's more to laugh about at a boot camp.
If you are assuming Chris Powell is unaware of what players are saying on twitter i think you maybe mistaken.

But he's hardly likely to dislodge BWP otherwise.
