Well he does exist... that's a progression on recent "rumours"!
  • Andy todd has been playing in the A league over here for perth, and he has been head and shoulders above the rest of the squad. It's massive loss for perth, the scottish management team of Ian furgerson and Dave Mitchell dont have a scooby, the club have gone to the dogs with these two in control of the team.

Charlton have been linked with a move for former Bristol City Adriano Basso who is a free agent. He recently appeared in a reserve game for Wolves but Chris Powell is hoping to sign him with Charlton having only one senior keeper at the club.

Quality keeper and would have to be number one if he moved here.
  • yes tel, he did. tando valafi is the keeper, oz i under 21 s, good shot stopper but does not command his box at all, very weak on crosses mate.

    Foxes return after unsuccessful trial.

Aleksandar Tunchev and Michael Lamey played for Charlton in a behind closed doors friendly earlier this week but ex-Foxes coach Chris Powell has decided against taking them on loan. "They are both qulaity players but Alek isn't yet fully fit and we couldn't agree on Michael's wages with City" Powell told the Leicester Echo.
  • Michael Lamey is 31. Not really 'old' as such - but still think we could do with a slightly younger mid-20's fast defender if there are any out there...

Unless he played two games on the same day then the above is false as Lamey played for Leicester the same day we played Spurs.

Been told that Ridsdale said we only paid £125k for BWP. Brilliant deal if true.

That's what Powell meant by being creative in the transfer market. To compare, Burnley are rumoured to have paid around £1.5m for Austin.

Source? Very good deal if BWP stays fit.

    Silly site that football rumours.

BTW is that Hayes guy in the squad tomorrow?
  • Plymouth FM researcher, but I have no idea who told him as I'm sure he wasn't suggesting he spoke directly to Ridsdale himself.

Failed a fitness test and there were worries about his mental health after he cut his shirt down the front and attached buttons, so he could put it back together! ;0)
  • Had a look at http://www.pasoti.co.uk/talk/viewtopic.php?t=50862&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=30 and they are suggesting £125k on there.

But fan message boards are not reliable sources for fees or wages. FACT

West Ham reserve team Coach Alex Dyer is growing frustrated by the Hammers refusal to allow him to speak to Charlton about their vacant Assistant Manager's role. New Addicks boss Chris Powell had made Dyer his no.1 target but now may turn his attention to Keith Burnkinshaw. Powell played under the former Spurs boss at Watford.

Simeon Jackson has turned down a move to Charlton as he prefers to fight for his place at Norwich. The Canadian forward joined City from Kent club Gillingham in the summer but has only made 4 starts since then.

Ask Maglor what he thinks of Jackson. He saw him playing for Norwich Reserves V Norwich Utd - local team. He was utter sh*te apparently.
