Our best striker is Anyinsah. He offers everything and has been unlucky with injuries. I still think benson is way below par, and should never start for us. Hope the new manager opts for pace up front instead of these slow donkeys we have in benson and abbott.

[cite]Posted By: Salad[/cite]Agree that Ayinsah is our standout striker, I think many have probably felt for a while that his fitness is key to our season.
[cite]Posted By: Henry Irving[/cite]Cheers Gary, thanks for asking.
I guess it will depend on if he is a success or not : - )
no worries.
my take if someone at the club knew last week would be that PP was responsible for the enquiry, or perhaps Hodgson offered him to us. perhaps the link from jonjo's transfer has been put into use.
think the kid could be good for us from the clips ive seen of him.
Interesting signing but I'm not getting excited yet. Being a Liverpool reserve doesn't automatically mean he'll be a brilliant player in League One. Still, I'm looking forward to seeing him play assuming it goes through.
[quote][cite]Posted By: Gazcafc81[/cite][quote][cite]Posted By: Lincsaddick[/cite]Do we need another striker who can't strike? .. 1 goal in 11 games at Huddersfield hardly indicates a prolific scorer. We need a stronger midfield. get the ball efficiently to benson, abbot, reid etc and we'll score more[/quote]
[b]Some players don't score that much but set other players up instead. I think he was played mainly on the wing for Hudders last season, hope we play him up front don't need anymore wingers.[/b][/quote]
We seem to fail at getting regular good crosses into the likes of Benson, some pace is needed to give us some threat going forwards, maybe Asinyah plus Ecclestone will do the trick
This is really hopeful. If we can get a creative midfielder to get the ball up to him, and Waggy Anyinsah and Jackson can do the same from the hole and the wings I think this could be very good for him and us...
The question is will he make it to the Valley with his geographical skills? Seriously - looks liek a good one to me but who is making the decisions? Wise possibly?

Fair enough, Scoham ....... but it wasn't there when I visited the OS just a few minutes ago.
But most of those appearances were from the bench, 10 or 15 minutes on the pitch.
And until then he was only 18 and totally inexperienced a year ago.
Is that Wednesday on Saturday.....?
I bet the squad don't know what day of the week it is, having already played this season on a Tuesday and a Thursday.
And a Monday and Sunday.
Like the name!
;o)
Oh Nathy Nathy,
Nathy Nathy Nathy Nathy Ecclestone
One Nathan Ecclestone ,
only one Nathan Ecclestone (Bit harder to sing i reckon)
Who's that scoring goals?
Nathan, Nathan Eccelston
Nathan, Nathan Eccelston
The obvious 'Are you Bernie in disguise' when he goes 2 games without scoring.
