[cite]Posted By: steveBHA[/cite]Ha ha ha some of you are seriously deluded on here.
Why would Gus leave a club heading for championship football, moving into a new 100 million pound stadium in the summer and a rich chairman backing him?
Poyet has built up a tidy squad here and is fresh from signing a 4 year contract.Sorry you are no Villa or Everton.Think again.
Agree with this, the only reasons Poyet is linked (apart from him being a good manager) are his links with the area, the club has his son, and his mates are involved. Mind you the Charlton fans are less delusional than the Palarse fans who think Poyet.
My estimation is:
Staying at Brighton 95%
Going to Charlton 5%
Going to Palarse -100%.
By the way, how can Brighton afford a £100mil stadium, did the chairman win the Euromillions?
...Incidentally Brighton are one of my least disliked clubs...especially because of the Stevie Gritt saviour game.
[cite]Posted By: steveBHA[/cite]No just common sense which seems to be missing on this forum.
I have no idea what your chairman is on but he wants automatic promotion this year.I don't rate your chances at all unless you get lucky in the play offs.
You were awful both times against us and rank on the box the other night.I'm not having a dig just stating a fact.
Agreed - I didn't rate our chances all the while we had Parkinson in charge. Things can only get better. But don't rule out the strength of the friendship between Poyet, Wise and Jimenez!!

How much money has he been given to build that squad? I am not aware that Brighton have been big spenders since Poyet has been in charge. It is a serious question because I don't know. If we have serious money to invest, which we may have (not sure), maybe we could easily afford the compensation and tempt Poyet with a big transfer budget to team up with his mates at a club that were in the Premiership 3 years ago.

Exactly. That's why we've dumped the culprit and are mounting an audacious bid to steal your manager from under your noses, leaving you playing div three football next season in a half-empty stadium that cost £100m !
And we will get our man. I'm told Jiminez and Wise have got some very incriminating photos, which GP will not want the world to see. They lied to Parkinson - so don't let Gus go thinking these people are his best mates and they would never use them. They are utterly ruthless. So don't be naive. Of course he's coming to us!!!
[quote][cite]Posted By: steveBHA[/cite]I read your new chairmans comments about your future and the Pie in the Sky ideas.Sounds like he isn't going to be throwing big money around does it?
There are plenty of other players but i've giving you a rough idea.Ok they are not all Poyet's buys just Greer,Noone and Barnes. We have just had a few bids turned down for Harley from Exeter. It's not all about money though.Look at the players Gus snapped up on a free Sparrow,Bridcutt,Calderon,Casper and Lua Lua on loan.[/quote]
Why are u coming on here to slag charlton off seems to me that u need to get a life.
If your that confident why are you wasting your time telling us all about it.
Firstly we know our short comings and all are aware of how crap we have been this season.
Secondly the majority on here are not deluded just speculating.
I don't expect that Poyet is going to drop what he has built at Brighton especially as you are in pole position, but your own fans were on his back before you played us moaning about playing over elaborate football.
[cite]Posted By: steveBHA[/cite]Good luck with Wise lol
bore off
nothing against Brighton, nice club and pleased your years of suffering are coming to an end but you're just a troll on a wind up - come back when you've won the league... I wasn't aware trophies were handed out in January
[cite]Posted By: steveBHA[/cite]Good luck with Wise lol
Dont be too smug mate....we are only 9 points behind......I fancy our chances a darn sight more than I did 24 hours ago. Its January....long way until May and anything can happen.
SteveBHA I think it has been mentioned as a possible move, as numerous other names calm down, mind you we are a bigger club with a few quid behind us now. Remind us where u was only eighteen months ago.

Did you also read his comments about backing Parky?
If that is all he has spent it shows what a good manager he is. But it also shows that your rich chairman is not as serious about getting Brighton into the Premiership as, I hope from their comments, our new owners are about getting Charlton there.

Haha, Brighton are nobody! and you will NOT win this league and prob will fall just out of the playoffs!
Why would he leave BHa ? cant see it . He is doing a cracking job there they have potential and we are still wobbling all over the place. The only way is if he is told who are the real owners and then my BHA friend we will see.
[cite]Posted By: steveBHA[/cite]Bigger club? 14k your last match. What is your average? Come back to me when we move into our new stadium then we can play that game.

BOOOOM! Again put that in your pipe and smoke it SteveBHA
I don't wanna be the kind of person who comes out with fruity rubbish rumours but somebody I know who's father is a close friend of Varney in the directors box said to me Poyet to Charlton last night and this morning Parky gets sacked.
I told him to stop talking bollocks at the time, but now it doesn't just seem like a coincidence to me.
