A very funny moment and I wrote about it at the end of the sheffield match thread. Very bloody funny. He posts on here apparently according to stonemuse.
[cite]Posted By: Elthamaddick[/cite]on a lighter note, what about the story from the Con Club of the bloke from Norwich a few years back ?
go on....
we were chatting in the packed lower bar of the Con Club, conversation got round to Norwich away a few years back (lost 1-0 I think Svennson) when alot seemed to make a weekend of it and a bloke jumped off the bridge into the Canel....said something along the lines of 'remember that pr*t who jumped off the bridge into 2 ft of water and dislocated his shoulder' at which point the bloke standing next to Curb_it said 'yeah that was me and it still bl**dy hurts now'
I imagine AFKA is embarrassed by this thread, everything wrong with the forum is summed up in 4 pages. To me (and I wasn't there) it seems that the younger section are making it out to be worse than what is was as the older fans in attendance didn't see anything wrong.

haha, a very funny moment mate (not you getting hurt) but that moment in the Con Club.
I didnt join in the abuse to the female steward. It was clearly wrong and naughty, tut tut; although it was funny! It was ironic that while some charlton fans poked fun at a steward for being overweight, towards the end of the game there was a (clearly deluded) female being escorted out by the stewards who was clearly no stranger to a fish supper, but she didnt get a chant!
Yes I get annoyed when people don't spell things correctly as I think our language is beautiful and needs preserving.
Yes I get angry when I hear that my own supporters chant/accept that it's okay to call a women fat until she is reduced to tears and has to be moved.
I think of it this way. What if it were a member of your family? How would you feel?
It's as easy to say she should re think her career choice as it is to point out to me that some on here may have problems spelling. She may not have a choice in her career.
Anyone that knows me knows I'm all for making noise. I am sometimes the only one who is singing in our block now KB is sitting in the rafters. But I sing football songs. I don't join in the Adams Family thing as I find it painful to see some people sing it who clearly need to recount how many fingers and toes they have.
I have standards. I don't realistically think others do. But it will never stop me from making my point.

Your right, it's wrong and she doesn't have a choice of career. Well not since she got sacked after getting caught nicking burgers from Macdonalds.

That was "Charlton Totty". At least that what's she had on her shirt. Anyone remember the derby home game 2 seasons ago on sky. Three of them with that xmas poster.
The fat steward thing was a bit over the top, and the lets go f***ing mental aswell but apart from that you can't moan at the 'chavs'. If it wasn't for the 'chavs' I would of left in the second half due to how boring the match actually was.
