[cite]Posted By: Jarman[/cite]Top bloke!
Good to see some of our fans aren't going to sit here and just use the excuse of not being able to replace him.
Obviously Charlton have overacted and took his season ticket away.
Which is rubbish.
Same old charlton treating their fans like crap.
Anybody else see that smug pr**k MW on the cafc twitter?
He couldn't wait to inform the twitter cafc followers that the guy had been arrested.
As fans we should all unite and flood the clubs inbox with complaints regarding the season ticket being taken away.
But obviously this is a unique club, why should we stick up for one another when we can argue and slag each other off over contrasting opinions.
A club employee feels the need to be smug tonight about the people who keep on comming.
Before I start on this thread I obviously have to point out before ‘better qualified and educated ‘people than me come all around the rubbish I am about to write, I have never been arrested, never thought about entering onto the pitch and or doing anything that may constitute a criminal offence at a game nor do I condone what the old fella did
But
Is anyone seriously surprised that someone finally decided to do something like this? For the last 4 and a bit seasons this club has been in serious decline. The only surprise should be that having gone through Dowie, Reed, Pardew and Parkinson it has taken this long for anything like this to happen.
As supporters we are told stick with us, despite being taken down through different divisions, keep stumping up cash for 5 year tickets when we appear at this moment not to have a clue.
sorry i wasnt there an dont even know millwall result or any others but one official twitter i saw from cafc... Disappointed not to see a back flip from lua lua... What a stupid thing to say on there at 5pm or whatever time it was. Glad i missed today anyway. Fair play to the old lad. Time to man up and sort this shit out. Good night. X
He sits right at the front of the lower west. C Block I think. He's usually quite vocal with his dislike of Parkinson, but yesterday he just lost it, he'd been shouting about how Parkinson was 'the worst manager we've had in 60 years'. I'm not surprised he tried to get to the bench, he wasn't happy.
Andy stop being a WUM, the man has shown a lot more passion and pride for the club than any of those players on the pitch did yesterday. I really hope the club don't take sanctions against him, there is a difference here between this incident and Borat. An idiot craving attention in front of an entire stadium and disrupting the game should be punished but someone here has lost it and vented his frustration in a way many of us never have or would.
[quote][cite]Posted By: Dazzler21[/cite]The rules are clear though and a man his age should know better.
Though I am saddened this fan of many years has got to a stage where he feels he must break rules to prove a point.[/quote]
Did you think the guy that held up the tank in Tianaman Square all those years ago was breaking the rules and deserved to be punished? Sometimes it takes someone with anger in their hearts and more courage than most to make their point in order to bring about much needed change. Good on the bloke I say, I'll be disgusted if the club punish him.
ha ha your comparing the student who held up the tank with a half hearted pitch invader,if people feelo so strong about parkinson perhaps they should have done something well before yesterday, same old

Sod that, anyone want my Wednesday ticket, there is no way i am going to get machine gunned for a football match
At the first match back at the Valley a bloke came on to the pitch and embraced Derek Hales, his emotions were there for all to see, and we identified with them, we smiled indulgently and he was politely ushered back to his seat. I did not see the bloke yesterday, but apart from the difference in the emotion displayed, we shared the same feeling regarding what we had witnessed. Yeah yeah rules are rules, It's against the law to do some things at football matches, just as it's against the law to ride a bicycle on the pavement, but common sense should prevail.
It may well be many more than one bloke if things carry on like this!!
I was cheering the old guy from the east stand, he obviously had something to say to Parky and thought it would be better said face to face lol. He should be given a slap on the wrists and that's the end of it... FFS we need the fans! I would take 100 of guys like him then a 1000 of some of the middle-class twats that give me a glare everytime I stand up or swear.
Actually cannot believe there has been another post like the one earlier. And people wonder why we as a set of fans are a laughing stock and others take the piss etc.
I'm pretty sure CafcAndy was just trying to get a reaction.
I reckon they should get the old boy in the changing rooms before every game and then again at half times. He'd have them earning their money in no time.

I despair of some of our fanbase when I read posts like this.
Me too....
Kids used to call Charlton Athletic, Apathetic when I was littleun......and we are.
Also agree

Jeus christ. Club is rotting in front of us. Fuck rules.
However the bloke was not violent or a threat to innocent fellow supporters. He did not encroach on the pitch area.
Common sense should prevail with a warning as to future conduct and leave it at that.

Really hope he gets off with a warning.
