As RedZed shot his load so early, in unison with plenty of others, I see no point in writing a preview and making people duplicate their views (although I think may some be altered after the euphoria of a win at Brisbane Road has died off...).
Moving forward though, we'll wait until the Wednesday/Thursday until previews appear on the site.
Didn't realise this had become the official pre-match thingy. I want WSS's preview, I look forward to his preview and it ain't here!!!! Booooooooooooooooooo. Cue stompy exit muttering about young upstart whippersnappers.

Appreciate that!
But with over 60 responses already it seems silly to start afresh. Shame I didn't have my sinking finger out ready when RedZed, the cheeky scamp started this up!

Ooooo, look at me....
My very own stinky sticky...
You better get up early next week, WSS, you thread stealer...
I've gone for a Charlton win, but that's my heart speaking, my head says we will loose - why - Oldham with Dicov as manager will run and chase everything, they won't give up and might just knock us out of our stride, especially with Daily & Semedo missing. If they have fast wingers then I'd go for Solly on the right. Pav might just try too hard, get wound up by the Oldham lads and get sent off, if he doesn't and we keep 11 men on the pitch then maybe we'll win.

Dear, dear. It makes you wonder whether people bothered to watch football outside the Prem in our little soujourn in the prem. Gregan was an absolutely quality midfielder for Preston in this division. The last of the over-weight midfielders, who was just excellent on the ball. Whilst being over-weight he had an excellent engine on him, and I guess that's why West Brom let him go at 30 and at Leeds his midfield play became too static. Moving him back to center defence and I'd have been dead happy to sign him last season. He is the perfect old pro in this div, organising and a cut above nearly every league one striker in decision making and positions. Like Dailly he's worth every penny he earns.
The OS getting really excited about Saturday's match:
"Charlton's first win against the Addicks came on December 13th the following season with Dai Astley, Jack Horton and Wilson Lennox on target in a 3-0 win in Lancashire."
Actually Colin, funny you should say that because 2 of my friends are season ticket holders at West Brom and I did go and watch evening games on the regular with them while Charlton were in the Prem(and for the record, during the period THEY thought Gregan was shocking!I understand what your saying about him being a model pro like Dailly, that doesnt take away the fact that he is a donkey!Norwich fans would have said Docherty was a model pro for them last season, but I still seem to remember him having 2 nightmare of games against us!Just because Gregan played every game last season, everyone seems to think he is a fantastic player!Well we shall see how fantastic he is on Saturday!

true but he made me look slim the size of thaty blokes arse i aint surprised no one got round him the game is only 45 mins a half would take most people a week to jog that far
im afriad it might be a draw after last years performance by oldham they have got more chance of wanting to win than rob elliot trying to score a goal kick
we played well and deserved the win against them last year when we went up to oldham especially with all of the pressure of the autos being available to us if we won it
Chris, don't suppose you fancy representing us on the radio tomorrow post-game ?
Message: Hello, my name is Phil and I\'m the producer of Scores with Ian Payne on LBC 97.3 on a Saturday afternoon. We\'re looking for a Charlton fan to speak to on the phone on a fairly regular basis after games on a saturday, starting from tomorrow. Obviously we could give your website a mention... please get back to me if someone can help us out thanks...
