[cite]Posted By: D_F_T[/cite]Fuck sake, what a poxy signing. Is this supposed to help us get over losing Richardson?
We're the fucking joke!
There will probably be more signings like this, players that we don't know much about. Judge them on the pitch, not how big a name they are. He might turn out to be as good a signing as Doherty.
Who knew much about Kyel Reid this time last year? Not many but everyone would have him back given the chance.
exactly
i didn't know much about Bailey before we signed him. this McCormack fella sounds like a similar kind of player and might make a perfect replacement - lets wait and see.

yes lets all f**kin have ye ha time nothing to be worried about the club after all must know best, their track record tells us that over the last 6 seasons ------ no reason to be down and pissed off at all.
9 playrs under contract and still selling off players. What does that tell ALL out there ? players coming in ? why would they ? clubs lookin for a cheal deal ----------- yes CAFC are potless lets go there.
Mind you musnt moan must we !!
just when should we get a tad PISSED OFF THEN ???????????????????????? WHEN ????
he's so overwelmed at signing he hasn't managed to comment on it yet, neither has Docherty. I suppose it will take a few days for it to sink in properly.
As I mentioned before in another thread everyone moans because we haven't signed anyone, yet moan when we do.
Give him a chance ffs! And what are you expecting? We have no money! Wages are tight! And do you know how hard it will be to attract someone to a club that, although made the playoffs last season, did it uncomfortably, especially with our recent history. Plus the fact we've just sold our best two players and we don't even have enough players for a matchday squad.
God we like a moan seriously guys can he be any worse than Mr Sideways with 1 goal last year or Thierry i ran a lot but dont really tackle, go past player or score
Can someone please confirm that the guy left Southend cos they didnt pay him, NOT because they didnt want him. He's getting classed as a reject by some which is way off the mark if the above is true.
No-one would've classed Bailey as a Charlton reject had we sold him at the beginning of last season after relegation. Why does this have to be treated any differently?

[cite]Posted By: MrOneLung[/cite]Looks like he is quite prepared to put his foot in.
Or he could just be a bad tackler.

Semedo's disciplinary record probably isn't much better than that though, and I don't think that many would regard him as a 'bad tackler'. However, having 2 guys in midfield with that many yellow cards could be a problem.

Thank God! Someone who isn't all doom and gloom.
Welcome to Charlton Alan!

Some people need to get a grip!
He is no replacement for Bailey but will still do a job at this level providing we can keep him out of the pub.
Okay we've lost Bailey and Richardson, both of whom are capable of doing a job in the Championship.
But often you need good Third division players to get promotion from the Third Division.
Like Millwall did last season.
Other teams didn't relish playing them!

Southend fans sorry to see him go, especially as he walked away from his contract and they got nothing for him.
Southend! - you think we've got problems!!
Perhaps we are going to see a Team of Bully's at Charlton next season which will make a change.
will he rollover and over react when fouled ???
Sounds like he's more likely to end up sparking them out.
He's also had a season in the Championship with Southend.
Or he could just be a bad tackler.

Surely won't matter when our 20 goal striker signs. ;-)
Goals are an issue over the whole squad at the moment really.
