great fighting display v a good side who we matched and then got on top off. They went for it but we kept our heads and scored. Not an own goal whatever PA say. Top notch save. One of the best you will see. Great noise as well. Go into last game with something to play for looking strong and with a settled side Hard to pick a MOM but will say Jose
Well done everyone, especially Parky, thought everything was spot on. I said before I thought Randy was the best keeper we have and I'm glad he proved it again today. Come on you reds, massive next week. Hopefully we will be writing here this time next Saturday celebrating promotion and if not lets carry this tempo and passion into the playoffs.

i know its unlikely, but Leeds could choke next week, Millwalll and Swindon draw and we could get 2nd spot, how brill would that be!!! - Damn I'm being optimistic again
Amazed that we are going into final game with somthing to play for. Looks unlikely but at least the team and fans can approach the play offs with belief and momentum. Well done every single person associated with Charlton today. Really raised my hopes and spirits.
I know its all ifs and buts but if only we had that extra point or goal difference. I could definitely see Leeds drawing next week and the other results going our way, just dont see them losing.
If we dont go up I would favour Leeds to do it, fancy us against Millwall now anyway and I wouldnt have said that a few weeks ago.

Thought we just about deserved the win - first half Leeds were the better side and we did look a little nervous and too many aimless long balls up front. Second half, far more purpose and I felt we were on top but wouldn't get the goal, especially after Sam Sodje headed over the bar from 6 yards with the goal at his mercy.
Good substitutions, though I felt Forster was a little unlucky coming off - Deon worked hard but he's not played a lot of football recently. Reid had an impact, his pace and ability stretches sides.
For me, Semedo got better and better as the game went on, however Dailly was fantastic throughout and Randolph's save from Beckford was "world class".
Lloyd Sam didn't get into the game for the first 60 minutes - he's so much more dangerous when he gets the ball and runs at people - he freezes too often in the big games for my liking - however I'm not going to pick holes as it's a team game, and over 90 minutes, we were the better side.
Leeds are dirty, tough and in your faces - if we can do this to them, then we can do this to Millwall - it's that kind of passion that will get us up.
What a day. Met Sasa Ilic before the game, saw Curbs (aka God) in the West Stand and the 3 points were just magical!
Made it even better that Leeds were so sure they were going up. They were put in there place.
As for the game, we battled hard again and deserved the win. Still lack some quality up top but we got the goal which mattered (own goal or not).
Agree that MOM is a tough choice. I thought Racon did well before he came off but have to agree Semedo was quality. Dailly once again was solid at the back, as was Sodje.
Parky took a massive gamble with the subs and it payed off, so well done Parky.
Some of the officiating was diabolical, but we won so who cares.
Just glad now that we'll be going to Oldham with something to play for at least. Radios at the ready!
First 15 we seemed really up for it before taking our foot off and letting them back in - couldn't seem to hold on to the ball up top. That said didn't really trouble Randolph. Second half, upped our game again and, I was a suprised as anyone, but Parky's triple substitution was spot on and swung it back in our favour. Not often a save gets a standing ovation but such was the quality of that one! IF we somehow manage to go up next week Randolph should never need buy a drink in SE7 again.
Special mentions for Richardson and the rest of back 4 today. The ref did them no favours at all but they kept their cool and coped with everything Leeds threw at them.
Special, special mention for the crowd...'let's be 'aving you' like that every game!
Would also like to say it was good to see Parky and co.. so animated down on the touchline. The 4th official took a hell of an ear bashing throughout the game aswell! Parky showed a lot of passion.
Thought we started well and then the first half became a bit of a non-event on the pitch.
Second half I exepected much much more from Leeds. It all became very frenetic in the last 15mins and I believe Leeds ended up with 5 strikers on the pitch.
Cracking atmosphere in the 2nd half. Place erupted when the goal went in. So sweet shutting up the arrogant barstewards in the Jimmy Seed Stand.
We take it to the last weekend and if anyone had said that back in August I'm 100% certain we all would have taken it.
Off out now....2 goals for the evening. Get drunk. Persuade wife it is a good idea to drive to Oldham!

I wouldn't get drunk and then drive to Oldham, it'll only end in tears...

There was a point in the first half when I thought parkie may be sent tot he stands he was getting so animated with the 4th official
What a game. Thought it was great football in the second half from all of our players. The crowd was buzzing and the team pulled it out of the bag for us. Parkys subs were spot on in my opinion and his tactics were brilliant also in the second half. A leeds mate who went said apart from all of the usual rubish that they just didnt turn up and that we were definatley the better team throughout.
Saw jonjo after the game had a word and he seemed down to earth. I said i know youll do well in the future and good luck. He said "thanks im sad to be leaving charlton but i think its the best for my career."
great game. they were better in first half whilst we dominated the second half. Couldn't see a goal coming until we scored. Although playoffs are still the likely outcome we only need two results to go our way and a win for us of course. So next week a 1-0 loss for Leeds against Bristol Rovers, a 0-0 draw for Swindon and Millwall and a 2-0 away win for us. Sorted.

Just imagine if Leeds lost, Millwall/Swindon drew ........ and so did we!
Whatever happens elsewhere, we must make sure we get the win.

I don't think actual scores matter - a win for us, a loss for Leeds and a draw for Millwall/Swindon does it.

Watched The 2nd half via an internet link and thought we were by far the better team. Sam looked really good today. Well done all and well done the team after another turbulant week. Perfor, ances are definately improving and win next week we could be the form team in the play offs or with a little luck straight up.
Thought we were poor in the first half, far too many long punted balls which allowed them to dictate the game. Second half was obviously much better, Sam carrying the ball and putting them on the back foot early in the half was important and encouraged Leeds to start playing for the draw. The substitutions worked a treat and were a really encouraging 'plan B' which we've lacked for most of the season. After we scored i also liked the fact we threatened on the break rather than sit back and invite constant pressure which has been a Charlton hallmark for too long.

Just gotta win 12-0 then, sorted
Could be a good birthday next saturday
You kept that quiet H.

IF only we'd beaten Exeter or Norwich ...
This resulted in a massive team effort, particularly in the second half.
Dailly reads the game so well. Fittest man in our team.

"When the fans get behind us like that it's a great place to play your football, and the lads responded to it."
And:

See how important it is, for the crowd to get behind the team ....!
