  • Is it April 1st? Only excuse for posting such an awful thing on here. NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
  • Let them share with Millwall.
All our dreggs in one basket!;-)
  • I've no objection to them sharing with us...we need the money....and how!
  • This might be a bit controversial, but......

I'd offer to let them play their 'home' games at The Valley for nothing, whilst they were sorting out their future.

How self righteous could we be then :-)

Agreed, it's the least we could do, seeing as they "saved" us !

I think we should pay them to play at the Valley. Seems only fair seeing as they "saved" us

    It doesn't take much...... ;-)
  • I was going to do an April Fool's on this but decided that it was actually likely to happen.

And of course you'd never mention it again : )
  • :o) true, but you can hear them now though "if we didn't bail you out when you had no cash................. "

Funny, but I do feel Addickted has a good point.
If it was the spanners, No Way.

Some things are worth more than money...........
  • A good point yes....but as I'm sure Addickted knows, good points don't get you anywhere with the bank manager!
  • I have always made clear my dislike for the orange tosser that used to 'run' our club.............but if we end up leaving Selhurst, to wherever...........he might want to adopt camouflage!! His F'ing mismanagment has landed us in this situation, words f'ing fail me........

If we leave Selhurst and it is redeveloped in our abscence, then I think it's safe to say well never have our own ground again.

Unless we buy Upton Park when they clear off to the Olympic Stadium!!!!!!!!!!

    Jordan you're a C&8!
  • yet, SOS, so many palace fans still love jordan and want him to be part of the new consortium.

    Strange people you palace fans.
  • Can't see it happening (or the toolbox), games at The Valley and den clashing every other weekend, unless they never used the gaff on a Saturday.
  • Shouldn't their first port of call be their nearest rivals, Brighton? They will have a new stadium they can share. They won't be welcome in Charlton where I live. A lot of us have long memories.
  • would we keep the funds of food and drink sold on the day and hospotality ?

  • if we have been 'sounded out' for ground sharing, are we in the process of 'sounding out' greenwich council at the possibility of the extra 23 events at the valley?
  • i believe we can have as many football events as we like but there is a limit of 6 non footie events.

But i could be terribly wrong.

I could have sworn I've seen more than six non-events this season ; )
  • It would be good for local businesses I guess. The Lib could charge £4 a pint.
  • They can rot as far as I'm concerned

I think the feelings towards SJ are certainly changing, as some of his dealings become clear.

However I do feel that a lot of the Palace fans, (myself included) that seem to be welcoming him as part of the consortium, are only doing so because of the cva situation, and certainly don't want him anywhere near the running of the club.
  • Why not just amalgamate the 2 clubs, add Millwall too and have a super South London United team.

    Super?

We couldn't get a decent team between them!
