Can anyone confirm or deny that the bloke in the dark jacket standing up above the crowd in the centre of it all, is Scooby who used to follow us? Looks an awful lot like him and i'd heard he was going there now? To clarify its the bloke who appears half way through the clip and is holding a can of beer.

Am 99% certain that it is him......oh dear.
  • whoever the geezer is he looks very passionate but i guess it proves what we knew anyway and that the majority of people dont go to millwall to express their love of football. this video sets a great example to the younger wannabes hanging around watching as the old bill let them get on with it.
  • Scooby is the sort of fan we were well shot of and has found a good home among similarly minded idiots.
  • 100% thats him!!!

    Wrongan

  • Can I ask what you expect the Old Bill to do? Can't see what laws the Millwall fans are breaking, to be honest.

    I agree 100%.
  • There's got to be a law against throwing a bottle of beer at a moving bus, surely!

Is that the guy, who looks like he's with his son? If so they must be so proud of each other.
  • Something to reminisce over the dinner table at christmas eh?

I missed that, sorry, then yeah. I assumed they were going to throw things, but I didn't see anything

    inciting a riot
    public disorder
    drinking in the street
    throwing beer bottles
  • Sorry, but what exactly are they doing wrong?

That's the main walkway (Zampa Road) down to the turnstiles and ticket office. Hundreds of Millwall are walking down that round and then get blocked off to allow the Leeds coaches to go through.

What do you expect? A round of applause and flowers thrown at the coaches? My god. I think I saw one glass & one can being thrown from a crowd of 150+.

BLOODY HELL. SHUT US DOWN NOW WHY DON'T YOU?

    Inciting a riot? Grow up.
Public disorder? God, a few wanker signs and shouting abuse? That happens in every ground up & down the country.
Drinking in the street? Crime of the century. Wasn't even aware that was outlawed!
Throwing beer bottles? (one glass & one can) Yea scum...... 2 objects thrown. The horror from people on here shocks me. When there are 13, 14 & 15 year olds wandering around stabbing & shooting eachother, how this illicits more horror & shock I don't know.

It's a shame there aren't no videos of the gauntlet Millwall fans had to face up at Elland Road a few years ago. 8 buses going down the ground with no police either side as bricks were lobbed from hundreds of massed Leeds. No video either showing the 15 youths with balaclavas on who jumped out and bricked the front bus window right where I was standing. Plenty of Millwall reacting to it granted, but that was a very dangerous few minutes from Leeds.

But no, it's only Millwall fans that do this.
  • Scooby was a simpleton
  • and scooby the charlton fan sparrows!!

what do you expect us to write on a charlton fans forum.
    wound you up tho

  • Im sure the same comments would be aimed at any other set of supporters, its more the comments on the video clip i found bemusing - where is the glory in this?

Sparrows you seem to be taking this personally - do you think its right?

Should we act this way next time we play Brum after they behaved like animals with us years ago?
  • You're not on a wind up though are you. Some of you are genuinely shocked & disgusted.

The ONE thing though that really does wind me up, is the inability of almost everyone, including myself, of quoting people properly! How the hell do a minority do it and the rest can't?

Or have I got some settings wrong......
  • Folder - do I think what is right? Standing there giving wanker signs and shouting abuse to opposition fans as they roll by in their coaches?

Of course it's right. Have you NEVER been to an away game and had the ground signing offensive songs to you or make rude gestures? Never ever been on the end of anti-London jibes and songs at northern grounds?

I'm ashamed they didn't storm the coaches and pull screaming women & children off before slicing them open. Saying that, if you've ever seen some of the lasses that follow Leeds they'd more likely have you screaming.

What do you want? The red carpet rolled out, a champagne reception and nibbles in the car park with away fans? You won't get very far with Leeds fans with that approach!
  • when leeds come to ours in two weeks we intend to sing charming little dittys about yorkshire actually
  • I wish i was that hard.

depends how far you want to get with them if your that way inclined. nibbles in the car park would be nice though, twiglets and pork scratchings if you could arrange that would be great.
anyway, if it was any other club the link wouldnt have been posted
  • VG - your missus says the same

    ;-)
  • They are coaches full of supporters club people and families dude - surely why attack them? im just curious. All of us of a certain age have been to away grounds and been intimidated - doesn't make it right.

Can't say i've ever seen that sort of reception for coaches at Charlton - but that plays into your hands, us being train spotters an all...

No problem with passion et'al - but i see nothing to be proud about here, i do understand the point you are trying to make...we are not in the 80's fella and there is nothing big and clever about intimidating supporters on coaches. Each to their own though - its not football if everyone doesn't have their own view - no matter how wrong it is ;)
