  • [cite]Posted By: nolly[/cite]really when did he play a millwall fixture?

sorry you said 'derby' but didn't specify...........if you meant Millwall you should have said Millwall...........and if you're so good at telling the future, what are the lottery numbers this week?

[cite]Posted By: northstandsteve[/cite]he did for the rest of his charlton career
    lol...........even I can't argue with that one ;-)
  • no the derby is millwall everyone knows that. night
  • [cite]Posted By: nolly[/cite]no the derby is millwall everyone knows that. night

[cite]Posted By: Stu of HU5[/cite]I'm with addick16, steve is clearly a plastic, I heard charlton isn't even his first team, he's a united fan who just watches charlton in his spare time.
So you noticed that this thread got started only after the AC Milan v Man United game finished too?

Sadly for steve, he was watching the brits ;-(
  • [cite]Posted By: nolly[/cite]yeah whatever.night

  • endless journey i guess
  • he's just saying he'll ease up on the relationship with charlton give it some breathing space cos it's winding him up and getting him down ........
and i agree it is so stressful seeing what has happened to us but it is an unconditional love for charlton that keeps us going back , even if it is less and less cos there are differnet priorities in our lives

lol... clearly not only proper sad c**** are on a charlton website at this time of nite
  • Had your cup of hot milk?

And where will you be at the Den??
  • i'll be at the den in the millwall end .... it's payback time!
  • you getting a box ooh aah?
  • you can watch our masses from afar ooh ah there look like more in there as we will illegally fill the aisles
  • So the team are not turning in good performances of late, neither did my kids at times but I never kicked them into touch. You dont end a love affair on a whim or to try and prove a point...Died in the Wool CAFC I am, and if they ever go into administration they'll have to drag me from the stadium kicking and screaming.

I'm guessing this rant wont please the boo boys?

i've already renewed for next year so i aint giving up,just dont want to feel so angry after games

i remember being in the spurs end when we won 3-2 and bartlett got sent off and trying to make excuses about why we couldn't sell it out , surely i wont have to make any for millwall
  • Can't believe Bartlett was complaining about our away support at Spurs!

    how you've changed oohaah!
  • I remmerb the one that went in of mackenzies knee against arsenal one boxing day in the late 80's I think it was ...... always liked Mckenzie.....
  • Well Steve this weekend presents a unique opportunity for you, I have some passes to meet the players after the game saturday if you want one just say & you can tell them face to face post match. Just let me know before the game if you want one.
  • Now i would love to be a fly on the wall at that meet. Go for it Steve!
  • I started going reguarly in the late 80's and even when the match was crap there was normally enough banter around to raise a smile. The old Covered end (and North Bank at UP) could be a right laugh even if the game was rubbish. You only see glimpses of that nowadays (Brentford away was a bit like that with the banter and sereneding of past greats)

Now I seem to be surrounded by people who either boo manically at the first misplaced or want to sing the happy clappy crap that we seem to have adopted as club athems (If there is a worse chant than C.A.F.C . in the country I've yet to hear it)

Maybe it's just me getting older but the whole matchday 'experience' is less fun so the way I feel about the club is much more reliant on what's happening on the pitch than it used to be and after the last few seasons that's not great.
