Think we can nick it... but I say that pretty much every week!

4-5-1 Burton, Semedo, Sam and Solly in for Sodje, Shelvey, Wagstaff and Richardson.

I'd keep Richardson but otherwise agree. I want Jonjo on the bench though.

I like Richardson, was one of our top early season performers but hasn't looked right since his injury return and has put in two very poor performances in our last two away games.

Jonjo definitely on the bench to try and unlock things later on with his vision and passing but I think we need to find him a true position and in the meantime we need to make sure we've not got anyone lost in the middle.
  • Is this our first must win game?

    Charlton to win...

Charlton: Rob Elliott, Frazer Richardson, Grant Basey, Jose Semedo, Sam Sodje, Christian Dailly, Nicky Bailey, Lloyd Sam, Therry Racon, Deon Burton, Akpo Sodje.

Substitutes: Darren Randolph, Miguel Llera Leon McKenzie, Scott Wagstaff, Chris Solly, Dave Mooney, Kyel Reid.

So the O/S's prediction on Friday was right , Oggy - two upfront and Deon in for Shelvey...
  • Pleased to see Racon back in there, feel like we've missed his little bits of magic at times.
  • No start for Reid?
  • edited February 2010
Don't know what Reid's done to be dropped. So will Bailey or Racon go on the left? No JJ on the bench either...
  • [cite]Posted By: JT[/cite]No start for Reid?

Strange. Our biggest attacking threat in recent weeks is left on the bench in a 'must win' game.
  • Maybe to come on last half hour against tired legs

More a case of no room for him if Racon is to start alongside Bailey.

    Who will play wide left?
  • any working links fellas?

  • Parkinson is shit, how many games is that where we have conceded first. Our defence is jank!
  • [cite]Posted By: Jason1[/cite]Our defence is jank!
I'm pretty sure we've conceded just as many as Norwich.

    But they score goals too.
  • So where is the problem then?
  • Our defending of set plays is shameful.

How did that guy stay on? The tackle on Basey was shocking.
  • Why do we have no defenders on the posts at corners?

Akpo is giving Mike Small a run too.
  • [cite]Posted By: falconwood_1[/cite]Why do we have no defenders on the posts at corners?

Because the manager forgot to tell them to do that.

  • He also forgot to tell them to leave a player or 2 up when The Pirates have a corner.
  • [cite]Posted By: OhsouthLondon[/cite]I feel for our supporters who made the trip.
This is such a poor performance from our boys.
    Burton has done nothing.
Lucky not to have conceded two pens.
We are handing this to Bristol on a plate and we dont look like winning.

    Business as usual then.

Good to see Parkinson looks really bothered about the result at half time.
  • absolute rubbish......poor ,poor performance,
