During the 90's I used to work in the Leadmill in Sheffield cooking food and preparing the riders for the bands that played there. Over the years I've met loads of famous musicians but the ones I counted as special were the likes of Mark E Smith, Johnathan Richman, and various members of various bands or DJ's that were knocking about the whole brit pop era.
During my time in Sheffield I also worked in a pub run by Nick Banks who was the drummer from Pulp and whose uncle is Gordan Banks who used to occasionally pop in. Other visitors included Robbie Williams who was pissed up and crap at darts. I had a drink with Noel Gallagher, Jarvis Cocker and Graham Coxen amongst others. I also prepared a wedding buffet for Richard Hawley.
Muhammad Ali and I was fortunate enough to have my photo taken with him.
Sir Clive Woodward who spent a weekend in Rome at a work off-site as the guest speaker. Also met and talked to Jonathan Edwards on the flight over.
Sir Ranulph Fiennes in Connecticut again as a guest speaker for a weekend off-site.
David Rocastle turned up unannounced at my family home one Sunday afternoon. My father had organised some collections to support his mother many years previously after David's father had died of the same illness that was to later claim his footballing son.
Chizz....did he give you the electrodes on the nuts? And as for Badger not showing due "respect"......people have been nailed to trees on Clapham Common for less!
PS: I met Dinsdale Piranha and Spiny Norman once in an aircraft hanger at Luton Airport......
Easy one Nelson Mandela in Brixton about 1994, my wife was working for the Princes Trust so I met Charlie too but I think Nelson Mandela tops him by some way!

I met Prince Charles, on a school trip to the Royal Albert Hall one Remembrance weekend some years ago. Seemed alright, thought he'd be a pretentious twat.
Literally walked into Carlos Tevez by accident when the tennis was at the o2 in november. That was crazy, he called me a son of a whore in spanish as he walked off lol
I've met a fair few from my undergrad at uni. I was involved in a student society whose main purpose was to invite celebrities for interviews. Can't remember some of them - they left such an impression on me.
Most famous is either Al Pacino or Helen Mirren, I think.
Best of the lot is Johnny Marr. Absolute legend, top bloke.
I met The Jordanaires (Elvis's original backing group from the 50's) at Memphis airport in 2002, well, the surviving members anyway, and had a chat with Noel Gallagher outside Charing Cross station a few years back, nice fella and down to earth.
Met a whole bunch of footballers in my time, and a whole lot of musicians. Met Jonny Borrell from Razorlight countless times, had my phone temporarily nicked by Pete Doherty. Also met Kings of Leon, Simian Mobile Disco, Some twat off Emmerdale who used to be in Hollyoaks (had a row with him) , hmmm Lily Allen. Calvin Harris a few times, Kate Nash, The Crickets, Milla Jokovic at some premiere, Bez, could go on...
Apart from footballers: Muhammad Ali, John Entwistle, Steve Marriot, Stirling Moss, Tom Kristensen (8 time Le mans winner) Derek Bell, Stuart Copeland & Roy Ayers
if thats the fella off hollyoaks and emmerdale I think it is blackheath then I was stood next to him and his mates at glastonbury last year and they were having a mass discussion about how much drugs they had left
This muppet. He was with The Sunshine Underground when I was at Stubbs, in Austin Texas. Without going into details, he was a twat of the highest order and I've never hit anyone in my life, but I was tempted to break that for him.
I met Tony and Cherie Blair and all the various archbishops/relegious leaders on the tube at north Greenwich. It was the opening night of the Millinieum dome, we were completely pissed and were belting out show tunes (i was with a couple of gay friends). Cherie was very very nice asked me to sing "Wondering Star" again as she liked it so much, Tony had a laugh, the Archbishops did not look impressed.
Also met Gorbachov (spelling?) before he was famous, at the Marx memorial library in Clerkenwell, I had no idea who he was but the staff at the library kept saying he would be the next leader of the soviet Union. My path has also crossed with Heseltine and Billy Bragg on a number of occasions (not together).
