We should all get behind the lad. He's developing and in the early stages of that development. When played in his natural position, he is good on the ball and has a decent eye for goal. I sometimes find our fans pretty fickle. I don't think we have been playing as good football as earlier this season, but week in week out we are grinding out a point or three at the minute and that is great! I hope JJ gets another shot in centre mid or as an attacking mid player at some point this season, where I'm sure he'll be more comfortable and be able to express himself better. I didn't think the likes of Jonjo, Bailey or Sam would be with us this far into the season, but they are, all seem commited and I'll happily cheer when they do good and stay neutral when they perform not so good.

He didn't refuse to play on the left, only suggested to Parky that it wasn't his best position. Not quite the same thing.
Sorry he drives a VW ;-)
Anyone who's ever played football competitively knows what I'm saying.
I don't see how it helps the player or the Charlton cause - to ram abuse down any player's throat when he makes a mistake.
Especially when he's just 17.
Not according to Parky himself ! Parky said he refused and I heard him say it !
Also, not proof but he hasn't played on the left since Bailey moved inside, an assortment of other players have all taken a turn on the left.
