You thought playing for the Junior Reds actually mean't you was a Charlton Schoolboy who would have a chance to progress into Lennie Lawrence's 1st team...
  • and....

    168. you've played for the Charlton Football quiz team!

  • 58. You choked up when you heard about Tommy Caton.

Totally agree with that one. Being a Man City and Charlton fan I was utterly devastated to hear that. He was a quality fella and it was just horrible what happened to him. 30 years old. Tragic. RIP

Just out of interest, did you all know that Tommy's 19 year old son Andy is now a Swindon Town player? I wish him all the best in the game

Wasn't aware of that. Another centre half ?
  • No Andy can play in midfield and also as a striker. He's out injured at the moment though. If you look at him, he is the spitting image of his dad.

You remember using the largest urinal in the country to the left of the old turnstyles in Floyd Road.
  • You were captured on film behind the goal when Killer scored his golden goal against Hull.
  • Andy Caton

  • Still didn't work! That's the website anyway to see Tommy's lad.
  • My Grandad was the head barman and then took over the Waterman's Arms pub from around 1966 or so until about 1970! If anyone remembers an Irishman called Paddy Hamilton who used to work there, that's him.
  • Had your photo taken with Killer when you were younger. Will have to dig mine out & get it posted on here.
  • Blimey...some no to but a lot yes to! May I add...if your were in the Stones club talking to your mates saying what a wanker Peter Shaw was, only to find him standing behind you at the bar listening to every word! And by making matters worse by saying 'Hello Pete, good to see you' Toe curling!
