    Cardiff at home, and a quick check to 'Home and Away' shows we came back from 2-0 down and equalised in the 87th minute.

  • Oooooh, 1-0 loss at home to SOUTHPORT!!!!! 22nd Dec 1973. So, that was in the old third division, and losing to (what later become) a non-league side. Nothings changed.

    I was actually conceived that very night!
  • Stoke City 2 : Charlton Athletic 2. 31st August 1946. CAFC going behind twice but Duffy and Welch equalising each time. I remember it well!
  • Charlton Athletic 2 - 1 Sheff Wed 13th January 1951.

    Hans Jepson's first game for us, he scored the winner and helped us to avoid relegation before returning to Sweden. In Jimmy Seed's book, our former manager mentions how he went to FA head quarters to steal him from signing for Arsenal, the reason why he originaly came to England. Try doing that today.
