Good game to watch imo, you were poor and it was a fairly easy win. Should have been more but we didn't really go for it after 2-0. McKenzie made it a decent finish and suprised our lads didn't get the nurves kick in and remained calm.
You looked very average compared to earlier in the season - whats happened?
Chant of the night was the Charlton fans 'Your ground to big for you' - Yep it is, but we're still getting more turn out at St Marys then you are at The Valley even though you're 2nd in the league. . . .
Was really impressed with Youga out of position, the odd mistake but dealt with Lallana really well most of the time and had some great dribbles out of defence.
Dailly was good as ever, Mooney made some good runs with no support, Semedo and Llera (Second half) ok I guess. Rest of the starters not up to much.
Holden did ok on both sides, worth starting against MK anyway.

Being pedantic, but it you look at average attendance vs capacity percentages we're achieving 64.5% and you're just under 60%; therefore our fans had more right than you lot to sing that song ;o)

[cite]Posted By: ISawLeaburnScore[/cite]Semedo and Mooney the only ones emerging with a + after that 45 for me, Dailly and possibly Youga middling, the rest... well
[cite]Posted By: uncle[/cite]Are you drunk |Semedo aint touched the ball, have i got it on the wrong channel. Get semedo off and put McKenzie on get Sam off and put Bailey on
Not at all mate, my honest appraisal on the first half, Semedo put some tackles in and Mooney ran his nuts off, more than you could say for ANY of the others in that first half
Bailey wasn't on the bench by the way...
a+ you really think Semedo deserved a+ for that first half display. Well i stand corrected i will have to watch it again cos i missed all that tackling he did for his a+

Never forget - you have Alan Pardew in charge.
You should have seen us take apart West Ham in his first season with us, we still got relegated though.
Saints fan, I saw you mum fall out of a pub in South London pulling here skirt down, she looked a bit worse for wear, you might want t o give her a bell..... round Maze hill way
That Parky interview has me worried......"apparently we competed all over the park, lacked a goal threat in the first half, were much better than Sunday and will look to grind out a result on Saturday".

In my message I said a + as in "a plus" i.e. any positive whatsoever, trust me nobody would've got a grade of 'A+' from me
there's no need to be so boisterous really is there?
[cite]Posted By: vancouveraddick[/cite]Pardew - you are a complete mug
He should probably jog on up the old apples n pears because he's a total cardboard cut out c#nt, fuc#in muggy sigh wants to get cut...Anyway, this wasn't as fun as anticipated, be sure to wave when we pass you going up the table.
Devastating come back.....have you considered the open night at the comedy store? Oh sorry I forgot you have to pay to get in there.
In all seriousness and I mean this from the bottom of my heart......
Here's what I take from this game and what needs to be done for Saturday
we must play 442 with leon and mooney up top and deon on bench
Holden deserves a chance after showing he has a good left foot and a desire to play wide (left)
not sure who to play in goal - can't say either really float my boat and neither has Robbies distribution! Bit of a problem IMO
sodge back for Llera but otherwise back 4 ok if Richardson isn't fit
bailey in middle with semedo or racon
Sam plays only because there is no able deputy at present
shame we lost but 3 points Saturday and it's all forgotten
i shall be going down to get a few tickets for the MK Dons game 2morrow, which shows that Minto`s statement "CAFC fans are intelligent" is complete booolllax
Who's getting boisterous? I was merely asking if you really thought Semedo deserved an a+. After all that is what you wrote. I cant be expected to guess you meant something else

Was funny listening to Scott go VERY quiet when Darke said about Jonjo turning down Chelsea and not taking the money. . . .Scott? Scott??

Erm you are, asking if I was drunk, going on about you having to watch the game again... a bit unnecessary, no? We're all pissed off aren't we?
Do you not think I would have wrote "an A+" if I had meant differently?

Generally agree with that.
Should have gone 4-4-2 at half time, we needed that other outlet, someone to hold up the ball and challenge (and win) some headers. Mooney, like McLeod, isn't that sort of player. Has more to his game than McLeod though.
Holden at least at this level should be useful, looks more likely to pick out a pass or cross from Wagstaff, even though he won't get it right every time. Still need to see more of him to really judge.
Sam will benefit from two up front, he needs players to keep possession hold it up and more targets to aim his crosses to.
Sodje or Llera doesn't bother me too much, Sodje has more pace but our defence is the best part of the team at the moment.
If Bailey and Racon are on form that would be fine, hopefully if they come back they start doing more show they deserve a place in the team.
Can't play with so many players out of position. Youga at righ back we can get away with if required. Any of Sam on the left, Holden on the right, McKenzie in midfield or Mooney/McLeod as a lone striker - not going to work, not consistently enough though. We're not playing with confidence or creating chances, putting players on their wrong side, making them feel a bit uncomfortable doesn't help them at all.
Positives to take from that two bob game are; That we looked a great deal stronger in the second half Still prepared to play out the final whistle The possibility of having three attackers (rather than one) I wouldn't have gone to the final even if we made it. i'm £120 up.
Negatives fron the game. Why not Randolph? Start with one up front with a weak midfield
[cite]Posted By: Goonerhater[/cite]and we keep leting in more than the other team, which is a tad F**KING SH*T
If we get some confidence back, start keeping possession better and creating chances we won't let in too many goals. The midfield need to at least stop the opposition midfield from dominating, and at times start dominating themselves.

Is this gonna start up the we're 2nd, don't do cups V's we're rubbush and in freefall debate again? Don't think i could take anymore...
