Sodje told the OS: "It's something I feel is right. I'm local to the area so Charlton is my club and I can't wait to get going. I had a few other clubs interested but this move is the one that's right for me. I loved it here before. This club is in my blood.”
"Fingers crossed all my injury problems are behind me now. I kept fit over the summer by training with my brother's clubs and hopefully I'll be ready for first-team football in a couple of weeks. I had a knee cartilage operation last season but it's sorted now. If I can stay fit, the fans know I'm here because I've got something to offer and I'll give 100 per cent every time I play.”
"You need to be consistent in this league and that's what Charlton have done. But it's still early doors and five wins is just the beginning, we need to maintain it every week.”
A good days business in my opinion and we managed to keep the midfield quartet. Perhaps we can now look forward with optimism and leave behind the 'fear' of the last two seasons. well done Parky and well done to the board. Thanks
“Charlton is near all my family, the package is decent and 100 per cent better than what Coventry offered me,”
“I didn’t know the manager, Phil Parkinson, but he obviously knew of me and thinks I will be a good addition to his squad.
“I know it is a drop down but it is a good club and hopefully I can help them get back up to the Championship.
“They have had a fantastic start to the season, winning all five of their league games so far, and I know that a fit Leon McKenzie has still got a lot to offer.
“I am sure the manager will break me in gently and hopefully I will get a chance to play up front again, which is what I really love doing"
[cite aria-level=0 aria-posinset=0 aria-setsize=0]Posted By: SpicedAddick[/cite]I could look this up but I'm too lazy... Which clubs are his brothers currently at?
Efe at Bury and the other one at Sheff Wed.
How long is his contract for? Couldn't see a reference on the OS
Cheers Oggy. The OS would take till tomorrow to load for me.
Welcome aboard lads, here's hoping you are all brilliant in the shirt of this great football club. Great bit of business by PP and well done to the board for keeping our other stars too. I genuinely feel that there is cause to be optimistic this season, great start, decent squad and some decent additions, top of the league etc etc. Lets hope the takeover takes place because that would put the cherry on top!
COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Once again the official website is using a c90 and a ZX Spectrum cassette deck to load up the pages so we may see all the news at midnight--Thursday!!)

Oh lord, he sounds like i right mug!! lets hope he does the bizzo, cos this interview hasn't endeared me to him at all!! Talking about himself in the third person was the last straw!!!
Well pleased about Sodger, great signing. 'We've got Sam sodgey, he's afecking quality'

Don't let his uncle hear you say stuff like that. He's a bit handy.
Sam & Sam, Leon and Deon, what next?
Dead chuffed about Sodje, and even more so since he wants to be with us.
Thought Dicko would have gone as well, plus Yassin to Mother Well well!
Not sure about these signings with regards injuries etc. But glad we have sold nowt of worth as they say in a scumbag Yorkshire town full of norvern monkies who think they have the beating of us. Roll on the next months fixtures, with a few BCD friendlies thrown in to try out the newbies so they can slot in (woof woof) as required.
[cite]Posted By: LargeAddick[/cite]can't see from the OS the lenghth of either Sodje's or MacKenzies contract so I'm assuming it's for 1 season only. Good additions even so.
No - we will be making a signing tomorrow which is being rumours to be Jaidi/Misfud.
Bet we end up getting some league two reject.
I think you'll find he's waiting for all the decent signings to be snapped up so he can loan in about 10 players and then moan that he wasn't given the funds* time* any other excuse* (from his book of endless excuses) * delete as appropriate.

That does impress me.
Perhaps when he played the housewife role to Mr Pardew here, he would cringe at the lack of bonebone in the squad.
Like we all did.

Some quality additions to the squad by Parky, well done sir.
Particularly pleased to have Sodje back. As for the other two - who knows?
Top signing though, providing he stays fit.
McKenzie is also another decent signing at this level imo.

McKenzie is 1 year. Sodje it doesn't say.
