  • ......and at 6'4, was he really tall enough for us?
    Only at full back :-)
  • llera is  squad back up @ best so not bothered if he stays or goes .....

he never got charltonised he's always been pony

  • For me, our main defensive problems last year were at full back.  With improvement there, I reckon none of Mig, Doherty and Dailly would have been so exposed and looked so poor.

  • He always gave his all and for that i felt there was a bit of old charlton about him. Hope he suceeds wherever he goes

Well Hearts have just released a promising full-back. Morals may get in the way until you realise he can play either flank and is 6'0ft, so everybody's happy. :-/

Tango now im being thick is that the bloke who got done for the under age thing?
  • We have all been spoilt by Richard Rufus. Mig was a decent Parky free transfer squad player. You always expected an error to happen but he could play a bit as well. He was unfortunate to cock up at Millwall and also to be paired with the tortoise paced Doherty or Daily, who has now lost much of his pace. I wish him well as he is a decent bloke. Very gracious when signing autographs for my niece.
  • According to his wiki page, apparently he quickly became a fans' favourite after a few games for us
  • In years to come, there will be a Charlton cult memory of him, like Leaburn.

  • I've been called a cult.
  • His youtube video has obviously done the trick. I need to pass him my cv.

     Thats the one
  • I liked him but if he does sign for Blackpool FC his agent deserves a Knighthood!

Llera came on as sub in Blackpool's Carling Cup match at Sheff Weds.

Blackpool lost 4-2 on pens - but Miguel Angel Llera scored one of them.
