    Miguel Llera oohhh
Unfortunately, he's never played for Espanyol. I'm sure he hates Millwall though.
But he comes from spain, does it say hes played no :)
What the hell does coming from Spain have to do with playing for Espanyol?
  • [cite]Posted By: ShootersHillGuru[/cite]Substitute Espanyol for Espagna and you are in business.

    Problem is it doesn't rhyme!

    Ole! Ole! Ole! Ole!

    Llera, Llera

(a bit better than yippy i o yippy i ay)

Bing..........When has it not rhyming ever stopped a football chant ? ;0)
  • To the tune of 'My Old Man's a Dustman'

Oh, Miguel Angel Llera is Spanish and he's tall,
He's all left foot and worries us when he goes near the ball,
And when his head cut open,
He could have gone to bed,
But he got up and scored a goal,
    And got stuck instead!

Quickly followed by (to the tune of 'I love you baby':

    Oh Miguel Llera,
    Our Spanish centre back,
    Oh Miguel Llera,
He's not scared of a whack,
    Oh Miguel Llera,
I'd let my wife sleep with you!

    Llera --llera oooooooooooo"

  • Ask Danny...he got a bit carried away all on his own yesterday when Miguel scored.....Im sure he will hum us a few more bars.....Come on Dan!
  • A bit off the beaten track, but...

To the choon of Mambo No. 5... Which obviously we're trying to save for Yado... but...

A little bit of Frazer in our lives,
A little bit of Lloyd Sam down the sides,
A little bit of Bailey he's our man,
A little bit of Robbie he's a fan,
A little bit of Youga with his pace,
A little bit of Jose cause he's ace,
A little bit of Llera in defence,
A little bit of Burton he's immense,
A little bit of Racon cause he can pass,
A little bit of Shelvey he's pure class,
A little bit of Dailly's what we need,
Now let's just hope we don't concede...

Can't think of a decent last two really. And I struggle with Racon.

take out the "cause" in racon and final line could be

"Now lets go win this league"
  • Dazzler, I think "Now let's go out and win this league" fits a bit better. But yeah. Thanks.
  • I'm not having that. The only team I;ve heard sing anything to that poxy 'Mambo # 5' song is Arsenal. No thanks.
  • To the the of viva Espana

Oh he comes from sunny, sunny Spain
    Miguel Angel Llera!
With his 6 foot 4 bulky frame
    Miguel Angel Llera!
  • Should have been an omen, met him in the club shop 2 days before the Wycombe game, and he scored, then sat in traffic just after 1pm on Bugsbys way Saturday, and Llera was behind me in his E reg Focus, money must have been bad at MK Dons?, he was obviously running late (do they have to report by 1pm?) he waved back at my son when I spotted him and my boy waved at him, he managed to get in front of me and zoomed off, but caught up with him outside Charlton station by the width barriers.
The the lad in front of me in the NWQ told me he backed him at 25-1 for the first goal, gutted I didn't go for it, definitely an omen missed.
  • Miguel Angel Llera
    Whoever you may be
You kill bulls in your country
    But it could be worse
    You could be from Palace
Towing your house behind a cart horse

    And Villa:

A little bit of Gabby in our lives,
A little bit of Petrov down the sides...

    Or something similar.
  • To the tune of Viva Espana

He’s all the way from sunny Spain
    Miguel Angel Llera,
He drives all the centre forwards insane,
    Miguel Angel Llera,
He jumps like a Spanish Matador
    Miguel Angel Llera
And when he fly’s in the air he’s bound to score
    Espana por favor

  • Gumbo & I spent about 5 minutes trying to get people to join in with our one after he scored, but we were drowned out with Red Army about Three times, God our fans are so imaginative !

Our attempts on Saturday were To the the of viva Espana

We have just signed a centre half from Spain
    Miguel Angel Llera!
  • I like him already and Ketman sos diddnt realise that i would have joined in if i would have herd yoou mate
  • Rumoured to be signing for blackpool.....
  • another underrated performer for us .. good luck to him .. Blackpool Tower mark 2
  • I like Mig, think he does an okay job at L1 level, but in the CCC he'll get torn to shrewds.
  • Would rather keep Mig than either Dailly and Doherty. He IS one player who hasn't had a fair crack of the whip in my opinion.
  • Never forget lleras goal, Against swindon when he lobbed the keeper
  • Would rather keep Mig than either Dailly and Doherty. He IS one player who hasn't had a fair crack of the whip in my opinion.
Agreed re the fair crack of the whip bit.

agreed, though i am a bit of a fan of Doherty and feel some fans are on his back for no good reason other han malicious spite
  • That would be a turn up for the books. You have to say Olly has a very good record of plucking players from obscurity and turning them into star performers so who are we to argue if he thinks Mig's good enough.

Good luck to the lad. Would be much better thought of, imo, if he hadn't had that one particularly disasterous game vs Colchester or if he put that shift in somewhere in the north where only 100 or so away fans would have seen it.
