Just got home, fecking quality night. Thought we played well even at 1-0 down & had a feeling we'd come through. Racon is just awesome, Bailey fought hard & Shelvey improved as the game went on, thought the booking made him quieten down.
Unlucky freekick from Llera, he looks like Petr Cech now :0)
On the train home. Very happy with that performance. Motm Semedo, he was immense. Crowd was amazing the players all came over at the end. Great team spirit
On train just leaving for darkest Hampshire but glowing all over. Not the best performance but the heads didn't go down and in the end we deserved the win
cracking result, poor first half performance but really upped it after the break.....Racon ran the show in the second half, absolute class. Special mention also for Deon, great finish and worked his nuts off.
Great crowd with a good atmosphere credit to the players can't remember the last time Charlton came frm behind to win so a good night all round, up the addicks!
We clearly have plenty of championship players, in a league 1 team.
Still think we are midfield heavy and making a meal of it, and if Racon can do what he did tonight every week, perhaps Semedo could be moved to full back to allow another striker.
All in all a pleasing trip, despite not being able to see all the pitch
So proud of the boys tonight. Having lost so many games last season when leading at half time it was so good to do it to someone else.
Thought we were pretty poor first half, but had a couple of decent attacks after flowing passing moves. It was clear we needed to do more of this in the second half, and Semedo, Racon and Shelvey absolutely nailed it. Deon's Usain Bolt/Stavros Flatley celebration was awesome after another great finish. Llera also did well considering he's playing in a Cech brace.
When was the last time we won our opening 3 league matches?!
Felt confident that we had the beating of them, even after conceding the goal.
I find it hard to believe that there are going to be many better midfields in this division - roll on the end of the transfer window so that the key players will be here until at least January.
Particular praise for Semedo - he does the simple things well, and allows others to get on with their own more attacking roles.

You don't think we'd miss him in the middle? Racon's a good player but Semedo is happy to sit back, keep it simple and a lot of what he does goes unnoticed.
In fact I think we'd notice Semedo was missing if we took him out, at times he's not noticed when he's there because he's just having a solid game.
And then the striker situation - Gray is too similar to Burton to play them together IMO, and I don't think any of the other three deserve to be starting. They can offer pace, someone to try and break the offside trap, but not a lot else.
Although we weren't great first half, always felt Orient would tire.
The did and we absolutely bossed the second half. Racon was quality but a special mention to Semedo who I thought completely dominated midfield in the 2nd period.
Only downer, forced off the path outside the Coach & Horses and it was an oven inside. Still, the cans in the sun in the park went down well!.
Oh yeah - the ref and linesman on the far side were utterly clueless.
First half, the small (in length) pitch meant they could get amongst us and put us out of our stride. However as the 2nd half progressed we got more and more on top. When the midfield get just a little bit of time to play football we rip sides apart. Deon took his goal well - but I fear he can only score penalties or from misplaced headers or backpasses. His touch was great but he's not a goalscorer, so I'd like to see us sign a goalscorer to give us a different plan B.
With the side we have (and especially the midfield), we will win more games than we lose.
I like Richardson a lot - his distribution is very good - always looking to play to feet or knock a ball into a channel, rather than aimlessly lumping it forward. Both Dailly and Llera have good moments and bad - but I think that's what you get at this level. With a goalscorer, one more centre half and nobody going out the door by the end of August, we'll be pushing for promotion.
Parkinson has a settled side now - however, I do think most of us on here could win enough games in this division with the squad and midfield we have - maybe Pardew couldn't though ..... ;-)
Thanks dan for ticket, hope you manage to get rid of that dodgy £20 note, great night, home in around 1/2 hour, dodgy start, i feel looking at the passion within the players at the end that 'we may have our Charlton back'
Great night out. Orient were physically dominant in the first half, both teams big-booting it backwards and forwards, and they scored from a set piece. We got two saves from their keeper first half, but only one real footballing move. Jonjo lucky to stay on in first minute with the two footed studs showing tackle, but the ref was indulgent, praps because he is a youngster.
Second half much better, Charlton players had the courage to receive the ball and take a challenge, but either ride it, or turn away into spaces, gradually got on top more and more. Their keeper made a brilliant save from Llera free kick, but we passed the ball more, and as the game opened up a bit, their single tactic of competing fiercly and giving it the big boot began to show signs of cracking. Just as we began chanting '442', we score, Jonjo good goal, and he was delighted, as were we. We were strong from that point on, another goal from Deon again (like Hartlepool) from a defensive error, then we played like we wanted to win, taking the ball into the corners, retaining posession and so on, Orient pushed more men up to search for an equaliser which helped us to retain posession, and Solly for Sam was a good substitution....especially as it looked like Sam had 'switched wings' just before being subbed, but really it was to get some applause, and make the walk off the pitch last longer.
Apparantly Varney and Curbs were there in the Charlton support, which was good throughout, and even going a goal down didn't crush the crowds hope, after we scored it was deafening the singing, all the players applauded us at the end, Robbie delighted and threw his gloves in the crowd, and Phil Parkinson was the most demonstrative I've seen him after the match, really thrilled we got the points.
We're four points ahead of what we need at the moment, a good cushion, and Parkinsons record this season moves up to pretty good from OK in my book...a win on Saturday and he gets a very good from me. I thought Semedo played well, as did Dailly, Burton, Racon..the other players were mainly good, or a bit uneven given the first half showing. The Charlton support was excellent.
Havent looked forward to a game as much as that since the 5-3 debacle at Blackpool 18 months ago. Tonight I have to say the Charlton fans were the 12th man. I cant remember a set of Charlton fans making so much noise throughout the game in many a year. The unity that the players showed both before the game and again afterwards is a good pointer for the future....lets hope we keep these players together......Chaps I really am begining to think we mght just have our Charlton back.....long may it continue. Semedo man of the match for me, but a good all round performance by the team. Away support 10/10
Great game. Lots of great individual performances but best of all we looked like a team that was playing for each other and didn't flinch even when we went behind. I think Parky deserves a few songs soon as the rumours that he's destroyed the dressing room cliques seem to be true, as we look a really solid unit on and off the pitch. Crowd were awesome tonight. Finished off with a lovely curry. Life does not get much better people.
Wow, just got back (bloody traffic in Blackwall Tunnel as usual), had a great day out (especially as it was my bday too). Coach and Horses was packed, although I got there about 5 so was empty then. Had 7 or 8 pints, then off to the match. Stand was old and wooden and unreserved seating was rediculous but the atmosphere was top class, well done everybody. Even at 1-0 down and not looking like we were gonna equalise we were all singing away. I think we scored at the right time cos the fans were starting to turn, more on parky than the players, and chanting for 4-4-2. To be honest, I thought we were a bit lucky. After going a goal down (and before) we werent playing well and the team wasnt cooperating well, but when we scored we looked a different team altogether. This is the only thing (if i am being critical) that worries me, as its the first time in the league this season weve trailed and it seemed to affect the lads, but credit to them, they did it in the end (although the winner involved some awful defending!). Well done the lads, great night out. E-I-E-I-E-I-O UP THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE WE GO!
Great night. Thought we were a bit unlucky to be 1 down and we weren't that bad first half. Showed character in coming back and winning a game, something which wouldn't of happened last season.
Racon and Semedo work well together. Crowd were good. Will add more tomorrow, but 3 out 3, can't ask for any more.

first-half they hassled and harried us and stifled our midfield but 2nd half Racon bossed the game - he is a class act
special mention for Burton too who was very good again IMO
we were a class above for 80% of the game.
Well done Jonjo, give us a full season kid.

And giving away free kicks in the first half, Sam, Shelvey and I think a few others going in with elbows apparently.
