Very good - but not as brilliant as Rhodri Giggs equivalent.

Hahaha...I've just watched the ad. Have to say that's pretty funny....but if I was a Spurs fan I would not be amused!

Now THAT is fucking brilliant 👏🏼🤣
  • The Campbell one, looks like it costs a few quid and yet only a tiny percentage of the country will know what the joke is, so interesting that they think it's worth doing. It's a good ad.

Just in case anyone was going to watch the latest Stick to Football podcast with special guest Sol Campbell, to see if he's actually alright and not a really odd character with a very high opinion of himself...............then i'm sorry to disappoint you.

The entire podcast was really awkward.

It is an uncomfortable watch in places. Gary Neville does really well to keep it going.
I felt a bit sorry for the bloke. Is he bi-polar or something? He doesn’t come across as mentally well imo.

I'd go as far to say it's the worst Stick to Football I've watched. As you say, it was really awkward.

He didn't seem keen to share anything, and kept deflecting the questions, where as most guests become rather open and share some interesting anecdotes. I'd never heard about the lawyer situation at Spurs, and be interested if that's what actually happened or just how Campbell perceives it to have happened.

Just watched it after linking above.  Why does he speak in riddles all the time.  Its not even deflection, his stories make no sense.

Was it someone on here who served him at their petrol station when he put the wrong fuel in his car? He refused to admit his mistake or accept offers of help and he (obviously) broke down a few hundred yards down the road.

I always thought the reason he didn't have a managers job was racism?

    One of the best bits:

“I was thinking of going to Forest.”
Oh, did they ever come in for you?
    “No”
    So why Forest?
    “Don't know”

    Cheers Sol. What a story.
