  • Five hundred more tickets for Charlton's away match against Leyton Orient arrived at The Valley on Tuesday as the Addicks approached selling out their initial allocation.

Around 200 of the club's 1,470 unreserved tickets in the East Stand at Brisbane Road had been sold by the start of the week.

Now a further 500 seats for Charlton's first London derby of the season, on Tuesday, August 18th (7.45pm), are available.

500 more tickets for the Leyton Orient match were made available on Tuesday

Tickets are on general sale, priced £20 adults and £13 over 65s and U18s (plus students with valid ID and the unemployed with proof of benefit).

So we have only sold 200 tickets???

I think the OS has got it wrong ;-)
  • Someone point out to the comms team that its not 200 sold !

It's hard for them trying to put up ticket stories while writing profiles of the new owners at the same time : - )

Must be true, it's on the OS!!
  • 1500 Orient tickets all unreserved ...

    Gonna be fun at 7:43
  • All initial 1,500 now sold out.

We will be lucky with a 1,000 there.

    You were saying matey ??

    :-)
  • We'll need more than another 500 I reckon.

Still a week to go. Hope we can get more?
  • earlier in the thread airman said we could potentially get 3,500.

wonder how many of the 15,000 home supporters that witnessed our opening day victory will make the gruelling, 4 stop tube trek from north greenwich?
  • I expect the final amount to be between 2k - 2.5k, which in comparison to our home crowds is poor. We should be selling out 3k for these type of games.

  • Can't wait for Orient :D

You say its poor if we don't hit 3k, just look how many we had for night games vs the likes of QPR last season... less than 1k i think!
  • Does anyone know if you can pay on the night?

just as a defeat Saturday would set the scene perfectly. Another loss and 2,000+ baying for blood. Should be fun either way.
  • unfortunately as much as I'm looking forward to next Tuesday.....I just know we'll get beat on Saturday!
  • I think the O's are likely to be a better team than Hartlepool.....

  • Now 1946 sold for Orient at 12.47....another 500 tickets are being biked over as I type...so close to 2,500 is likely...good stuff (consider the woeful 600 or so at QPR)
  • lets hope they make it a good performance and encourage fans to turn out again.

    But knowing Charlton.... ;0)
  • Now sold the additional 500 in wich the club recieved this morning, with a futher 1,000 being allocated, any further comments CAFC Bourne
  • now now, none of us are fans of the 'i told you so' industry....:-)
  • where's Ooh Aah!!

    he'll be gutted hearing this...
  • edited August 2009
    Nearly 500 sold for Hartlepool
  • Intersting look back over the threads who predicted what the numbers would travel over to Orient....
  • Just looking at Orients average attendance from last season, it's quite possible that half the ground next week could be Charlton.

Would be great, hopefully the support will spur us on to a win. Hopefully.

Was it even that many ? Reading was a disgrace as well.

Can't wait for this one, should be good, but unallocated seating - whats all that about. Unless you leave the pub at 7PM it's going to be a nightmare.
