Five hundred more tickets for Charlton's away match against Leyton Orient arrived at The Valley on Tuesday as the Addicks approached selling out their initial allocation.
Around 200 of the club's 1,470 unreserved tickets in the East Stand at Brisbane Road had been sold by the start of the week.
Now a further 500 seats for Charlton's first London derby of the season, on Tuesday, August 18th (7.45pm), are available.
500 more tickets for the Leyton Orient match were made available on Tuesday
Tickets are on general sale, priced £20 adults and £13 over 65s and U18s (plus students with valid ID and the unemployed with proof of benefit).
I expect the final amount to be between 2k - 2.5k, which in comparison to our home crowds is poor. We should be selling out 3k for these type of games.
[cite]Posted By: paulbaconsarnie[/cite]wonder how many of the 15,000 home supporters that witnessed our opening day victory will make the gruelling, 4 stop tube trek from north greenwich?
come on don't forget..... it's the summer holidays, plenty of people away
£20 for third tier football, rip off/recession
changing at stratford is hassle
we've just lost to hereford and hartlepool..........................

just as a defeat Saturday would set the scene perfectly. Another loss and 2,000+ baying for blood. Should be fun either way.
Now 1946 sold for Orient at 12.47....another 500 tickets are being biked over as I type...so close to 2,500 is likely...good stuff (consider the woeful 600 or so at QPR)
[cite]Posted By: Plaaayer[/cite]Just looking at Orients average attendance from last season, it's quite possible that half the ground next week could be Charlton.
Would be great, hopefully the support will spur us on to a win. Hopefully.

So we have only sold 200 tickets???
I think the OS has got it wrong ;-)
It's hard for them trying to put up ticket stories while writing profiles of the new owners at the same time : - )
Must be true, it's on the OS!!
Gonna be fun at 7:43
Another 500 will be on sale from tomorrow morning.

Still a week to go. Hope we can get more?

You say its poor if we don't hit 3k, just look how many we had for night games vs the likes of QPR last season... less than 1k i think!

But knowing Charlton.... ;0)
he'll be gutted hearing this...

Was it even that many ? Reading was a disgrace as well.
Can't wait for this one, should be good, but unallocated seating - whats all that about. Unless you leave the pub at 7PM it's going to be a nightmare.
