We will do very well in my view to sell out the 1,500 or so Orient tickets we have got so far.
Think you are missing a few key points if you are compairing the Orient game to the QPR game in terms of numbers. Correct me if i am wrong but wasnt the fans opposed to going to QPR due to the inflated prices for this particular game. Orient is a lot easier to get to by road as well as by tube. There is a generation of fan that havent been to Orient as well as it is still being in the school holidays is priced very fairly. I would like to think that fans this season would get behind team due to the current challanges we are facing rather than sitting on here all doom and gloom
I was not comparing it to QPR someone else did, however if you need reasons & i am sure Ooh Aah will back me up on this :-

i) Not a new ground : Not to me and you maybe to others it is. ii) Holiday season: Couldnt agree more in which would mean dads may take there sons as they dont have to be up early for school in the morning( the kids that is not the dads) iii) Tier Three game: Arent they all in this league? iv) Midweek : In terms of travelling time is an extra 15 minutes driving time if you was going to the Valley maybe less for some v) Errr Orient hardly bleedin Real Madrid is it: But then Real Madrid is not a local derby and not as easy to get too vi) Exactly how many away's did we sell out in the Championship last season....err it was less than 2 [ We had one of the worst seasons for nearly two decades last season so i feel it is not really fair to compare last seasons followings.
I take it you will not be going to the game, but for those that are i am sure they will be enthuastic and chear the team on in a local derby
[cite]Posted By: LargeAddick[/cite]following a defeat at home to Wycombe, a defeat on pens at Hereford, a draw at Hartlepool the game at Orient will be Parky's last in charge.
[cite]Posted By: Ketman[/cite]If we get Dicked opening day expect it to be well below 1,500.
PS I will be going but I am a realist & no-one has come up with any genuine reasons as to why it will be a bumper away turn out thus far.
How about we win our first two games of the season and win them well, jesus, the season hasnt even started and people are starting to reach for the knife draw to slit their wrists already
Some people said we'd only sell 4k Season tickets.
Sure there will be a good turn out by our poorish standards especially with the takeover being announced tomorrow, the new manager and Sodje, Kandol, Fortune, Randolph and Lambert all signing.
Have I said how annoyed I am that I'm missing this?

He must be. He reckons we'll get a point at Hartlepools United.

Maybe you could ask them to delay it till your ready, a few more days won't matter!
Annoyed that I can't make Leyton Orient (had booked a trip to Edinburgh the day before the fixtures came out unaware there was a midweek match) - but shall be at both Hereford and Hartlepool, assuming I can get tickets tomorrow.

1800-2000 is my prediction
