14.6mn of Bonds owned by Murray,Chappell,Whitehand and Sumners, for which they have waived interest for the past year.
was this waived or deferred ?
Deffered until 2014 I was told at a FF meeting.
The forum boys wrote to the club this morning and basically got blanked....Directors aware of the Mail on Sunday piece and will be issueing a statement in due course blah, blah....waste of time and effort asking in my opinion.
I guess the Board are feeling a bit under siege at present, so no wonder they've closed ranks.
Put yourself in their shoes with all the recent adverse publicity, and you can't really blame them for doing so.
Perhaps the forum boys should dress up as Mick C (or down), stick a press card in their hats and buttonhole everyone who comes out of main reception looking like a director. The sight of Mr Chappell being chased across the car park by Gavin in his Robin costume would bring tears to the eyes.
Could someone start a new thread that has the main highlights and points from this thread, there are alot of valid points made by various people,, i'm just struggling to keep up with it all.
[cite]Posted By: ShootersHillGuru[/cite]Verge, Brink, Horizon ? All that is currently clear imho is that CAFC in their current guise are headed at some point into administration. New money is needed and the sooner the better.
Given that we were doomed the day before yesterday, news of our impending death was a litlle premature. There has been all sorts of opinions/rubbish/speculation/hysteria etc published on this thread over the last two days. I don't know what the finances are at the club and I don't know whether there are negotiations going on. I don't think anyone else on here knows for certain either so let's not panic until we have to.
Perspective ---------------- came to me in huge spades today. This morning got a phone call my Mum had been rushed to St marys Hos with a suspected heart attack. We rush there and 4 hours later we know she hasnt had a heart attack, but isnt very well and will be kept in for observations. Me and the mrs go sit outside and a lady sits down asks if we smoke---we dont. two mins later she has a fit-------i manage to get her on floor---Mrs legs it for help and Drs /nurses come from all sides. I have seen a few fits before but this was bad, blood from nose/mouth and they were giving her CPR as they wheeled her into A+E.
Charlton Athletic are a football club and itmeans alot to us that they survive----------------perspective ---------------its not life and death.

We don't know how much debt the club is in.
We don't know what the cashflow deficit is going to be for the coming season but we do know that there is one.
We don't know who the bidders are (local businessmen?) but we do know there has been some takeover interest.
We don't know how much they are offering for the club.
We don't know what an acceptable offer is for the club as far as the current directors are concerned, but Murray says they are prepared to 'write-off £30M'
We don't know who the manager will be, nor what players will still be here come the start of the season, and we may not even be here to start the season if the scaremongering is correct.

GH, best wishes, know the feeling, my bro had a stent implanted three weeks ago following an actual HA...but he is improving, lets hope your mum continues to improve, look out for her, and for yourself.

No it wasn't.
It was a possibility before then as you were quite clearly told

"The Hudson deal was agreed in principle with Cardiff long before last season had ended." He took a lease on his new Wales base in May.
Anyway............
Without a takeover we don't have enough cash to complete the season, so if we can't increase debt - we will have to sell assets to survive.
The easiest way is to sell players, and the most saleable players are Shelvey and Bailey.
Who knows what agreements may have already been made without our knowledge?

Or something like that....
GH - Hope she's ok.
Agree it puts it all into perspective.
God knows about the other poor woman. Still if your going to have a massive seizure siting outside an A+E dept would be the best place i guess.
