the players are back for pre season training on the 25th June and you would like to think the club would have either come out and said parky is the manager or have a new manager in place for the 1st day back
[cite]Posted By: Fish-Costa-Fortune[/cite]But despite being a Charlton legend as a player, he will be still be considered part of the coaching staff that oversaw quite possibly one of the worst Charlton season's ever.
Why has Kinsella gone?
Why is Parkinson still here??? That is the real question.
Kinsella is a Charlton legend as a player, but whether he is guilty by association or simply not a good coach, there has been no evidence that he had any positive effect in management.
Sad to say, as I had hoped that he would have been a Charlton manager one day.
[cite]Posted By: c4fcdenmark[/cite]But Kinsella going? Surely that has to be newsworthy - a legend of the club. Lots of stories about Taxis, community work and a nice pitch for next season, a couple of younger players leaving etc. but nothing on this, makes it hard for me to believe that this is somehow unimportant enough for any journalist to pick up on.
If Parky is staying, why not come out with it, in preparation for target 4000...
If you're trying to sell season tickets news that a club legend cleared his desk and walked out a couple of months ago having not been offered a deal, isn't great.
I guess journos leave us alone now because we are under the radar in League One

Probably not a player? Could be though.

Doesn't say if he's staying or going, but suggests 'something' is going on.
Not really. There could still be a takeover. Even if there is, doesn't mean they're going to sack Parkinson either.
