Bands/music acts you wish you'd seen live.

For me.

Had tickets to see Led Zep on the Physical Graffitti tour but couldn't go, also had a choice of two gigs on the same night, The Police at Hammersmith or Dire Straits at Lewisham Odeon. Went to see Dire Straits, bad choice.

would have wanted to see the ADF when Deedar was still involve.

Currently wouldn't mind seeing Snow Patrol and Razorlight if I could ever be arsed to get tickets

A bit too young to have caught Led Zep.

Would love to have seen The Stone Roses. Saw most bands of their ilk but somehow never got round to seeing them.

Had tickets to see James twice. Once supporting the Cure but got there too late and once at Glasto '90 but was so waynkered I couldn't even move out of my tent.

I only included people who were alive when I was D. hence no Cochran or Holly. Okay I am pushing it a bit with Johnny Burnette and Johnny Kidd - I would have only been 2 when they died...

I was once sitting in the Intrepid Fox wondering if I could be bothered to queue for the Marquee. Decided to have another pint instead and missed the first London show by Guns and Roses. They got too big very quickly and I hate stadiums gigs so never went to se them. Oh and after the first album they went down hill.

    The Smiths.

And yeah, as Henry says, being able to see the original Motown revues would have been awesome.

In an alternative world, we'd be lining up to see a 400-year-old, 400-stone Elvis at the Dome...

Myself and Rothko helped put on a gig featuring Snow Patrol (compered by Ricky Gervais) at the Underworld in Camden in the late 90s. They weren't bad, strange to see them (and him) do so well.

A couple of people mentioned Joy Division - I saw them twice and they had more impact live than any other band I have ever seen.

The one I missed was Queen. I had tickets for the Sex Pistols too, but they cancelled.

Saw Jimi Hendrix at the Bromley Court Hotel.

Wish I had made the effort to see Syds Pink Floyd and Kevin Ayers in Soft Machine.
Beatles in Hamberg would have been good!

Free - Had a ticket and then Kossoff went and broke his arm (I think he fell of stage) and the gig was cancelled.

And The Valley concerts. Worked on Saturdays then and couldnt get the time off. Should have scived. Big regret.

Wish I'd seen The Clash (mark1). By the time I managed to get my act together they were onto mark 3 which was not the best. Basically, Joe, Paul and some session blokes. I wish I'd not declined a ticket for The Jam at Brighton Civic Hall on their farewell tour.

I wish I'd arrived earlier at a House Of Love gig in Philadelphia. Only saw the final 20 mins as I cocked up on the time of the show.

I wish my sister hadn't passed out at a Happy Mondays gig before they even came on as I subsequently missed the whole thing.

I wish I saw the Ramones when they were young. They seemed like a piss poor tribute band towards the end.

Actually the Jam was at Brighton Centre.(I correct myself though no one cares)
