Uncle as you know sadly Tuna was not on the bench. I was the wag who bawled at parkinson to change it at 75mins and bring on a striker sadly he brought on Dickson FFS at least Burton created a lot more hassle in his 10 mins. Agree re Ambrose what's the point should have gone 442 when Jonjo came off. Guess we must be protecting our prize asset
I was the one that got told off for taking pictures fecking idiot everyone was taking them. I think parky lost the plot today but i suppose thats not the first time
To be hoest they all looked tired but wouldn't say Jonjo was any more tired than any of the others. IMO ZZ was very poor no one shone but it was the timing of the change that was strange. Jonjo had just done probably our best bit of play up to then with a good run into the box then gets brought off
Yes the timing of taking jonjo off was strange uncle he had much more belief and vision then anyone else on the pitch.The cov neighbors I travelled with really couldnt understand him being taken off and were mighty relieved. I guess a lot of people thought he would be rested today so at least we saw him for as long as we did. I thought ZZ looked ok, apart from trying to add a new satelite . Generally the middle of the pitch was so crowded that a switch of formation might of given racon zz or shelvey more room to play. Kandol , I thought was pretty hopeless and has no understandinbg of the offside rule.. The defence looked fairly solid. I know a little of people on here cant stand butterfield , I thought he was good today and if we could keep todays defence for next season it would be strong. Sam wasnt at his best. all in all a strange subdued match which we should of one and would of if we had some forwards with a bit of nouse.
Jonjo looked like the only one today who could have got a goal, so a bizarre decision to take him off. Noticed a group of 8 walking out as soon as it happened. (Shelvey clan?)
Coventry looked like a side who can't wait for the summer hols.
Elliot 6 - Not much to do, but a good save first half
Butterfield 6 - Good solid game. 2 in a row imho.
Youga 6 - When called upon did ok. Not any dodgy errors that i can think of either
Ward 6 - Solid and dependable once again. Would love him in our side for next season
Hudson 6 - Solid, but a game where both defences did not have to bust a gut
Bailey 6 - Unlucky with the shot at the end.
Racon 6 - Kept it tidy
ZZ 6 - Was busy enough
Sam 6 - Has played better
Jonjo 7 - Suprised he came off. Unlucky with a great run, and shot deflected for a corner later
Kandol 6 - Not the answer i'm afraid

two games on the trot that ZZ has been well below par. Jonjo was the only player of ours that looked positive going forward. Very poor game, two very poor teams. The fact that yet another team that looks worse than us but are in mid table obscurity but safe just shows to me that Parky has got nowhere near enough out of this squad as he should have done.

This all seems to be moaning at Parkinson just because he's Parkinson. Other managers would have made similar changes.
Has everyone forgotten Ambrose has ability, even if he rarely uses it? Every mention of him seems to suggest he's some awful back up player we shouldn't be using. Yes he'll most likely be released but another day he'd end up coming off the bench and scoring.
If Burton came on first, someone else would be moaning that at least Dickson is more likely to score. He can't win whoever he brings on or doesn't bring on.
Yes Shirty5 that was us. It was hard enough watching with him on the pitch let alone when he went off. They were so different to saturday. Its a shame cos i really thought we would get a win there
