[cite]Posted By: BlackForestReds[/cite]He thinks he should be playing for Wolves, no outright mention of not staying, but the tone of the piece suggested this was a loan only.
...........
Would you expect him to say anything else? He's employed by Wolves and would like to be playing for them next year, whether it's in the Prem or CCC it'll be at a higher level and at better wages than we can offer him, but that aside, he has to be loyal to his employer.
The interview gave me no indication of loyalty towards Wolves, there was a hint of a falling out with someone if anything.
Whether he wants to be at Wolves next year or not, I get the distinct impression he won't be. A fee will be involved with any transfer so he won't be coming to us.
Looking at his performances for us, I'd say that he is better than league one and will get another championship club.
I Know that Tamer Tuna travelled with the first team spoke to his father yesterday evening...... Not on the bench though, probably get a chance when things are cut and dried, hope so the kid has talent.( but then I am biased)
[cite]Posted By: BlackForestReds[/cite]Besides Solly whom you mention, Harry Arter is just back from being loaned out - why recall him if there is no intention of playing him? Plus there is Tuna.
I'd like to see all three get some playing time, even if it's coming off the bench for ten minutes or so.
I think we might see them once we are officially relegated. For now he's playing the best team to get some results, even if it doesn't make a difference.
It doesn't sound like we'll see Tuna, it was just to reward him for his performance in the reserves and give him experience of being in and around the squad.
To be fair he said Solly is close and Wagstaff has come into form, maybe they should have been involved by now, but I'll be surprised if we don't see at least a couple of them before the end of the season.

Can't get too excited about Wagstaff I'm affraid. He has looked out of his depth in the couple of first team appearances I have seen.

I actually agree, I hope Solly and Arter are the ones that will get a chance.
Pardew seemed to rate Wagstaff very highly, not sure about Parkinson though.
I wasn't impressed with him against Ebbsfleet (though he did score a tap-in) and Brighton, nevermind Bilbao and Yeovil.

I think he got permanently banned by the FA for being in possession of a frivolous surname. Tough, but probably fair.

Southend, along with James Walker.
