[cite]Posted By: budgie[/cite]I think you'll find just the opposite, the hooligan problem has virtually disapeared from Premiership clubs, and also pretty much the Championship, but it does appear to be quite rife in the lower leagues.
Thats what I said in another thread!!
Its rife in the lower leagues and they will all come out to see the mighty Charlton......Shhhhhhh

I have to agree, some of the places we will have to go will be well up for the visit of the once proud premiership club Charlton, these so called smaller clubs have some very serious "firms" who are very active, sorry, but its true.

Carlisle or Huddisfield away on a Tuesday night......NICE!
[cite]Posted By: ChicagoAddick[/cite]Hey, don't knock a trip to Carlisle. If when the fixtures come out, they are our final game, go out and buy your hat :-)
You will find hoolies in every league in the country if you want to,
Southampton and us have history so it crosses the boundries of what people call fair and right
allegedly you dont do shirts women and children, however when there is history sometimes things happen like the Palarse mugs on the train and the southampton scum bags who did this.
however in our early premiership days we could have had it at every ground in the country in that first season i went virtually every game that year home and away and if i had chose to walk that path along with my pals on here we would have found ourselves obliged on many a saturday afternoon.
Dont go scaring folks into this it will be hell in the lower leagues shit, it is there in every league go about your normal day to day saturday business enjoy yourselves bring your family show them the real footie grounds enjoy the season as much as possible dont scare people into not going to games
My in-laws followed there team home and away this season in League 1 and reckon they haven't seen a bit of trouble bar a couple of idiots at a game, so to start saying that there's gonna be trouble and putting people off going is a bit out of order I think.
Of course if you go looking for it your always gonna find it but it's wrong to start scaring people into not going!
there was a bit of angry banter between fans at Derby but nothing serious - first i have seen since palace and neither of those did we have any genuine trouble this year!

But until at Derby, they threw a smoke grenade at the away fans and tried to get past the police.
Idiots.
