One win doesn't spell the end to our woes, but I am also warming to the Parkmeister too. I was in the new broom post-Pardew camp, but the further the slimy one receeds into history the less Parky is tainted by his legacy.
I desperately PP to succeed, if only becuase his success would mean survival for us.
I wasn't there tonight but it sounds like we were organised, hard working and of course we gave some of the young players a chance. The main things fans have been asking for (apart from Dickson starting...) and what we weren't seeing in Pardew's last month or so.
Now it depends what he does Saturday, does he bring back players like Elliot, Murty and Holland or keep Randolph, Yassin and Wright in the team. Getting those decisions right could make all the difference.
we will not get out of the bottom 3 playing 1 up front - especially if that player is Burton or Gray.
Burton done absolutly nothing tonight - he may have run around a bit but never had the ball in their box or had a shot/header at goal. Some of that may be down to the supply, but if you are up front on your own sometimes you have to create things yourself.

I am sure you don't read my posts properly - I don't want gloom, despair and hopelessness - I just want 3 points today.
Amen.
