Worryingly I'm starting to feel confident about this one...plus it's about time we won a game, that run of draws and mostly defeats has to end sooner or later, so why not now?

I live in Manchester & the weather for tomorrow looks ok. Bright, clear & cold but not too windy. Night temperature about -3c. Think I'll change my username to Michael Fiiish now...
I'm up the road in Preston, but I'll be in Manc tomorrow night (after watching the mighty addicks destroy the donkey lashers) to watch the Wedding Present....
Thanks for the weather forecast btw - I'm hoping the wind isn't as strong as last year, it made it a bleeding lottery (that we lost, obviously)..
what has gone wrong at the Pool....where do I start?
General doom&gloom up at the seaside - bit of second season blues, too many loan players,too many loan players who seem to play with more passion than our permanent players, falling attendances due to over inflated ticket prices, and a (still) two-sided stadium with no visible signs of progress!
Subs to play imo if we are doing sh*t - Burton for Gray around 65-70 minutes, Dickson for Waghorn around the same time then Shelvey for Holland around 75-80 Mins
if we win the next few games i'll don my santa outfit on boxing day!
God work is boring today, listening to Talksport is quite lively though Collymore slagging off Jamie carragher at the moment. No mention of Charlton yet although we did get a mention Thursday something about a bet a Charlton Director had with Alan Brazil, although he would not say what the bet was.
"In goal for the Tangerines is Paul Rachubka, who spent time at The Valley under Alan Curbishley.
Interestingly, the hosts have six loan players in their 16 man squad; Alan Gow's involvement on the bench allowed as he has been borrowed from north of the border, Glasgow Rangers to be precise."
So no excuses from which ever side loses that it was the loanees' fault

Yes, I heard that. Alan Brazil also said "Well, no need for us to spend any money on booze at Xmas this year. I've had a bet with a Charlton Director. What a mug. Thanks Dave, Xmas is on you this year!". So looks like our friend Dave White has had a one sided bet with Brazil. LOL.

As for the team...
Weaver
Craine-Hudson-Primus-McE
Gillespie-Bailey-Racon-Buzz
Gray-Burton
If Racon is out as I suspect I'd go for Holland and experience ahead of Semedo.
Only allowed 5 loans BFR....
agree totally plus I'd don't think Primus has been any good anyway. Nor would I drop Semedo.
Please prove me wrong, boys.
I think it will be a real guts and glory performance that we need to get anything from this game. If we do, the morale boost will be massive.
Come on you reds!
That'll do for me!

How's that for starters!
Deon to score and Racon to snatch a winner.
My team would be
=======================WEAVER
Moutouakil========Fortune======Hudson======McEveley
Gillespie=========Racon========Holland=======Bouazza
=================Waghorn
========================Gray

Charlton: Weaver; Cranie, McEveley, Hudson, Fortune; Gillespie, Semedo, Bailey, Bouazza; Gray, Burton.
Subs: Elliot, Holland, Sam, McLeod, Dickson.
Blackpool: Rachubka; Barker, Martin, Edwards, Evatt; Hammill, Southern, Hendrie, Reid; Dickinson, Burgess.
Subs (not used): Baptiste, Fox, Taylor-Fletcher, Kabba, Gow.
Referee: M Jones
Very Attacking bench. No defender. I know he has Semedo and even Bailey who can drop back but a calculated risk.
Come on you reds !!!
Clean sheet. Ground out 0 - 0 or 0 - 1 to us.
LOL I am gonna slaughter you later for this if we lose ! :-)
Is that just FACT or a LOCKED ON FACT?
Or Dave Sumners or Dave Hughes.
