  • oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.......
  • how low is this moment?
  • And just when my footballing life cant get any worse, watford pull a goal back to erase my 3 pointer in the predictions league. I think I am going to shave my eyebrows off.
  • one point from nine, and against teams in the bottom half, not the likes of Brum, Reading or Wolves. Blackpool had only scored four at home all season and the two home wins by 1-0. Shows exactly whwere we are at the moment.
  • we fecking beat reading 4-2 and now we couldnt buy a win!
  • all over good first 30 minutes but the game goes for bloody 90
  • commentator just said he can't see us getting many more wins this season based on that performance.
  • At the moment, Charlton is a broken club. We need somebody with a big stick of glue to help mend us. I really do fear that the Zabeel furore has done lasting damage to the club & it's not easy to see what we can do now to turn it around. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see us playing Division 1 football next year.

[cite]Posted By: Oakster[/cite]It's still early in the season though - not even half way through, any talk of us already being down is nonsense.

think you are wrong. One win in twelve, 3 wins in 45 games, definately relegation form. Leicester and Leeds were probably saying the same at this stage too. Let's not kid ourselves, relagation is on the cards at the moment.

But this form is under the Pardew-Parky collective - who knows what a new face could achieve in the future
  • Well we can't get any lower than this. Let's hope we can turn it around Tuesday. I feel for the lot who are making the long journey back down south.

  • We've just had two improved performances where we deserved a draw at QPR and a win last Saturday and then we go and dish up a load of crap like today....their keeper had only one shot to save and that was a regulation tip over the bar!
  • we cant increase our loan via the banks as they aint lending.
it is unlikely that the diectors will or can put in enough money
we havnt got players to sell for big money

unless we can find a buyer for the club (unlikely) the only other way is for someone to join the Board and put in big money.

STOP TALKING ABOUT IMPROVED PERFORMANCES WHERE WE DESERVED THIS OR DESERVED THAT!

The table does not lie - we are the worst team currently in this division!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Truely dreadful situation at the moment.

I could even swallow bad results if we were at least playing well but judging by yet another dreadful performance today, its got to the point where its intolerable.

I admit I was for giving Parkinson a chance but im afraid we just don't have the time to try out someone who is unproven at this level and now we have hit rock bottom the board urgently need to get out there and get someone in for our next home game before we start to fall 2, 3 even 4 wins away from safety which judging by our current form won't be too far away unless something drastic is done NOW!
  • Errrm Clive.... I said we had improved for the last two games and we did...and then this total shambles today...I'm not arguing with the table or making excuses just passing on a factual observation...factual in every sense as much as the league table.
I'm not being unrealistic for one moment!

I don't get this 'we had improved the last two matches lark'. After Barnsley at home, when Pards should have gone, we improved at Plymouth and Brum but only picked up one point out of six. We all know what happened next. We havn't improved in the next three unless you count a point at home against a team just above you as an improvement. Blackpool today were there for the taking. Their home form is woeful, before today only 4 goals at home and 2 1-0 wins. They must be ecstatic up there today.

I have to spell things out I think.......the performances and general standard of play HAD improved againt QPR and Southampton...the net result of course was dissapointingly only one point....I'm just stating that we had some reason to believe we'd at least put in a reasonable performance today...especially given Blackpools poor form....am I not correct?
What happened was that the good signs we saw, completely went out the window....that's ALL I'm saying guys...I don't think many would argue with that!
  • Agree saa£
  • Better performances mean nothing if you keep losing though.
