I'm a bit surprised that no-one has come in as yet. As stated elsewhere you'd want them in to be able to train with their new team mates for at least a couple of days otherwise they won't be fully prepared. Stuggling to understand too how we are going to be able to sign players currently in form because if they are it means they have been playing and who is going to let a current first teramer leave and an in form one to boot. Unless from a lower league of course and then you have to start questioning their ability.

To sum up then Large. We're deep in the brown stuff!
I cannot believe he's getting some loans in to tinker with the side further. Few of last years worked, Bouazza has failed to deliver despite a good start, and Crainey has shown he is only effective a centreback where Hudson and Primus are preferred. Some here might want a left back, but I'd stick with what we've got. We have Semedo finally in contention in centre-mid with Racon back soon, Pards might try some more wingers but I'd go narrow with Bailey, Semedo, Basey, Racon. He might get in a big pacy centre forward (Bent at Wigan is not getting many games!) but that means admitting that his five forward signings costing upwards of £3.5mil (plus wages) were mistakes.
In answer to the original question, ' what loans do we expect? ' Well I'm beginning to wonder if there will be any.
It's gone five on Wednesday evening and still no sign of any movement in, only Ambrose in the opposite direction.
It is clearly proving more diffifult than the club thought. Don't forget we were told reinforcments would arrive "definitely" in time for Plymouth. Then that was changed to "next week". Two-thirds of the way through the week and still nothing.
On the positive side, hopefully this means we're making sure we're not palmed off with any old rubbish (even AP admitted last week that we had been taken for mugs on some of last season's loanees) and we are only going to take players if they are of proven quality and we know they can do a job .
Perhaps RM will give the City Addicks a hint or two tonight, otherwise, as is mentioned above, it's getting mighty close to Saturday again, leaving little chance for a new player to prepare for a game.
Someone to play alongside Bailey, get his foot on the ball and all that. NO names spring to mind (though I have just worked 14 hour day and had a glass of wine).
Quite frankly, a couple of decent midfielders are all we need.

did you see how bad he was last season - admittedly the whole team were but he was SHOCKING.
He's at Pompey now isn't he
