edited November 2008 in General Charlton
We're obviously looking for more than one, so ehat do you think is needed, what positions, and are there any realistic players you have your eye on ?

  • Can we loan players from Prem Clubs.
  • Positions?-all of them
    Who?-Not a bloody clue(worryingly nor has Pards)
  • I expect the striker from Brighton and a midfielder from a Prem club.
  • Dean Windass
  • i expect to be reminded how far we have fallen.

    George Costa ooooooooooooooooooo
    George Costa ooooooooooooooooooo
    he came from Portugal
    he still fu**in hates Millwall

long long long time ago ---- when he had a team------ and when we could say naughty words.
  • I've heard a vicious rumour from a very unreliable source that we're signing Neil Harris. I really hope I'm wrong.
  • no chance of getting harris. he's only a couple of goals away from becoming Milwalls all time scorer he won't leave to moss out on that
  • [cite]Posted By: adamtheaddick[/cite]Dean Windass

    FFS No!!
  • Dean Windass or David Connolly.

    Experienced strikers
  • The only "experienced striker" we will sign is that fat Millwall twat Bob Crow the leader of the RMT Union.

    david healy fro sunderland

    nugent from pompey

    isn't Healy at Fulham ??

How about Marlon Harewood, not getting a game for Villa.
  • We defo need an alternative to Andy Gray plus a nippy striker who knows where the net is, so...

Parkin from Stoke...and David Healy (though the latter once again is a confidence player, so that'll be no good, then!)
  • Routledge would be a good shout .....

Harewood, of course, Pards old boy. Likewise Matthew Etherington.

But surely Prem players won't want to drop down to Tier 2 - and even if they did, we'll never match their salaries.

So back to Glen Murray, etc

Parkins is now at Preston. Maybe we could loan Kitson from Stoke, doesn't seem to be getting agame.
  • It wont be anyone good ;-( (still peed off at work)
  • Nor Amdy Faye ....

    ;o)
  • i truely hope ur hope is rewarded with one of theabove. I just cant see it at all. we aint got the cash for an established Prem players wages, which means the OWNING club would have to front some of the cash.

Its got to be a has been -- wanna be-- or never was be.

what affect does a loan player coming in and puting out one of our "strikers" ? Varney is teflon acording to Pards and of the others move down the pecking order for a loan player its gotta hit their confidence ------- and we start the circle again of havin our OWN strickers with no confidence.
  • Ledge, all three of those were on my list
  • 3 loans would be great. Defender Midfield and a Striker.

Kitson would be a brilliant signing..

  • No striker is going to do the biz ....... unless we get someone in to provide a service.
  • Oggy used to know a bird up town ( she was from malta) who provided a service , maybe we should see if she is avaialable?
  • Ha ha, GH!

Well, you reckon even our current strikers should score there ....?
Or perhaps they would go down in the box

Could she put over a decent Maltese Cross?

Routledge is a good shout as he might help improve our service from wide which is what Gray needs more of. David Healy is also a good shout (experienced, cultured, bit of a goal poacher). Heard a mumble we might be getting Herm back from Pompey too. Would make our defence even slower and would saccrifice some of our attacking threat from wide but he'd surely help beef us up a bit and make us better from set pieces at both ends.
