One other thing Suz some of your comments over the last couple of days have had my blood boiling and my comments have probably had the same effect on you.But good on you if the team/manager should the same fight and determination as you we would be in the top 6 ;-)
[cite]Posted By: suzisausage[/cite]can I just add, that I'm not saying you're wrong for reaching breaking point, but want you to understand that not everyone else has reached a limit, and no one on here, from either side needs to "get a grip".
agree.

AFKA - I enjoyed your article and to be fair it is hard to argue against anything that you have written. But it all sounds a bit (David) Cameronesque if you keep criticising the current regime but don't offer a better alternative (you may have done in other threads I am struggling to keep up now). Do you really believe with any great certainty that there is an alternative out there that makes it viable to pay out the compensation to the current management and then pay someone else. If so, who?

I think that would be more fun : - )
i dont give a toss if you have fallen out of love with val donican
''there have been 79 managerial changes at the other 91 league clubs since we appointed Alan Pardew. ''
Or to put it another way, Mr Pardew is currently something like the 12th longest serving manager in the league (probably a little lower on the list as the changes no doubt involve fewer than 79 clubs, some having changed managers more than once)...
Even so, it's a staggering statistic that I think puts a fresh light on the debate, for it proves that it is exceedingly rare for any manager to be allowed as long as Mr Pardew has been given to achieve nothing.
He's rather a lucky, boy, I would say, and is only still there because of our (understandable) desperation for stability after the double trauma of Dowie/Les Reed.

I think your stance is admirable Suzie, i wish i could have mainatained my focus like that but i can and i wont, i would not insinuate that all have lost faith in Pardew but i will mainatain a huge number has.
The club needs to act soon due to the amount of fans who have lost faith in him before they loose faith in those higher up in the club and no matter how many times i tell myself that i dont want that to happen i can virtually guarentee that it will.
The players are responsible they are the ones who above letting us down have let Pardew down they have not done what he has asked of them.
We could hold them wholey responsible and call for Pardew to drop them or sell them or give them away but that wont fix the problem as we would have no players left.
There is 2 solutions
1, Pardew goes (sacked or walks)
2. They go on the biggest turn around in the history of football and get promoted (then people will give them a break)
but that will not happen, Play offs will not happen, Mid table may not happen, Relegation really could so how long do we bury ourselves in blind faith.
I am a positive person my glass is half full at all times, i am not depressed by the Pardew scenerio i just feel it is time for a change and for him to move on he has failed us all in the return on his remit and He should be big enough to accept it and those that employ him should be brave enough to accept and deal with it accordingly

for those that didn't now as someone who always give a balanced and fair assessment of all things charlton i have now been
promoted to the CL board ;-)
[cite]Posted By: RalphMilnesgut[/cite]"I've made changes and given everyone a go, so it's probably the time now to stick with what I think is my best side"
Is the fact he has not been sticking with his best side a reason to go or the fact he now will, a reason he should stay?
I'd say if ever there was a statement that supported the case that he has been negligent in his role until now, that's it. If any of us publically stated that we weren't doing the job we were piad for I doubt whether our bosses would be quite so understanding as the board have been. Jeez....

So you've been picking bad teams deliberately Alan? Fantastic, I'm glad we've got that sorted, all is forgiven.
