Bodde: "It is stressing me out, I am waiting but this has been going on since the start of my holidays some seven or eight weeks ago.I am at Swansea now, but my heart and my head are not - at times I am not sure what I will do, but my family is my main focus. I never wanted to leave with a bad taste, but the way things have gone is not my fault, it was a hard decision to decide to leave, as it was when I left Holland to come to Swansea."
It would be Swansea who would get off to the worst of possible starts when Mark Hundson buried the ball past Dorus De Vries after latching onto a Jonjo Shelvey corner.
Ferrie Bodde had a chance to level the scoring after Darren Pratley was fouled 30 yards outside of the penalty area. Bodde's fizzling shot was spilled by Weaver in the Charlton goal but no one was on the follow up to capitalize.
Quickly on the break Marcos Painter surged down the flank and whipped in a cross to Guillem Bauza but the Spaniard could not control the ball and the chance was gone. Just moments later Ashley Williams cleared the danger but parried the ball out for a corner to Charlton. Lloyd Sam could only see his excellent volley saved by De Vries in the Swansea goal. It would be Roberto Martinez's side that were lucky not to go 2-0 down after Luke Varney was sent clean through on goal but the former Crewe Alexander forward was adjudged to have fouled his marker Matty Collins.
Swansea were ending the first half with a sustained period of pressure but could not break down a resilient and well organized home defense, after Bauza tried to breach Weaver's goal. After a cutting move Thomas Butler forced a save out of Weaver but the former Manchester City shot-stopper spilled the shot again but the advancing Leon Britton could not latch onto the spilled ball.
[cite]Posted By: cafcinperth[/cite]its hard listening to this guy but its much better than what we have from charlton
What I don't understand is how can a local swansea station broadcast their games but a local station in the south-east can't do Charlton's. I thought there was a problem with broadcasting rights so how comes Swansea manage to do it?
