Cawley says he's been training with us for a few weeks so hopefully go some amount of fitness. I don't know what it says though that we had him training with us for a few weeks and still sent Hernandez out onto the pitch. Hopefully we were trying to avoid to have to pay for both of them if we could rather than Hernandez being assessed as more useful than Rousillon.
I’m hoping this means we’ve made sure Rousillon is actually reasonably fit before signing him, rather than a complete panic buy because we have no one else

I think we played a behind closed doors friendly in the international break, so he might have got some minutes there too

  • At his age if he was any good he would have signed for Wrexham. 🤣

We desperately needed reinforcements, we’ve got one. Got to be better than playing Onel or TC there.

I'm looking to all the mis-spelling's of his surname in the post match thread tomorrow.

Will he play tomorrow ? It does give Nathan Jones some options, without coming away from his favoured wing back formation, it also gives us an option to use Hernandez in a forward role, which in fairness to him, he's has been yet to occupy, I wonder if he has a mate who's a goal scorer.

No idea about this guy but NJ must think he can do a job so that’s good for me. But 32 and hardly played for 2 years must have taken a toll on his legs
  • Could have announced this BEFORE I posted the Match Preview, swear the club does this just to spite me!!

They don't like the competition mate... ;)
  • Lampard not laughing now eh?

Don't mind this at all. Played all of his career at a good level and would let Bell play LCB.
Question is , how fit is he.

    Nathan must be Desperate.

    He's back tomorrow...

Nathan Jones confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Amari’i Bell and Onel Hernández are both available for this weekend's game...

So guessing he'll be rotated then. Wouldn't risk starting him against top of the table, but then again Nathan picks the team.

Bell was on the bench on Tuesday.

Although Jones said afterwards that he was only fit to play 10-15mins at most - So either he's been kept back for tomorrow, with a mind to start, or we'll see one of Ramsay or Rousillon on the Left. Suspect it will be the latter, hence why he signed today.
