As usual, before deciding on whether I think this is a good signing or not, I'll wait to see what Luton and/or Southampton fans think of him. Because he surely must have played for one or both of those.

Welcome! He joins a long, illustrious list of Guadeloupeans that have worn the short. Oh, wait...

He is now by default my all-time favourite Guadeloupean international.

Have we ever had a past-their-best non-window free agent signing become a success? Not trying to be negative just got me thinking. I know Yann was signed in October of course but he was still fairly young. Adam Matthews was alright I suppose.

So guessing it's until Jan? Maybe an option to extend.

He's been without a club since the summer I guess?

Has he been training with us? Hopefully fit to play immediately? And drilled in the system.

In his last match, he played against Amari'i Bell and Karoy Anderson

As usual have doubts about a 32 year old out of contract and still so this far into the season.
Then in this case I have no idea, has he played in the EFL before?
This strikes me as desperation because are injury problems are so bad.

My son has heard of him & says he was great on Fifa a few years back.

    That's good enough for me.

As it’s filmed there, I’m afraid that Jérôme has a way to go before I can rate him as my favourite Guadeloupean ahead of Death in Paradise’s Josephine Joubert & Sara Martins 😍😂

    P.S. welcome & good luck JR 👍🏻

Reminds me more of the Alou Diarra signing than the Onel Hernandez one. Good pedigree, spent his whole career playing for good sides at the top level. As long as he's fit enough to actually play I'm hopeful he'll at least be enough to tide us over until we can get a serious signing in in January

I wish him all the best but I think it's a case of can he stay injury free.

    Alou Diarra.

As a fifa fan back in the day this may be my favourite signing of the season even if his legs have completely gone in the last couple of years and he turns out to be useless

Actually looks like a decent enough ‘panic’ signing. We need an answer to that LB role and I’ve actually heard of him. Good experience too.

This has a feel of a 10-yr ago Roland arrival of Diarra, Fanni, Motta, Texteira. Older European guys for a short term.

All of them were decent, here’s hoping JR is similar.

    We desperately needed something there

We went down with those players though (Diarra having arrived the season before).  7 games in 2 years doesn't bode well, but I'll wait to see him play before casting judgement.  We needed a left sided defender.

I haven’t seen him in Death in Paradise which is a concern.

As we're being murdered in Coventry tomorrow, it definitely won't be Death in Paradise

Plays for a country in Concacaf? Kelman, Bell and Hernandez already with ticks.

Cawley says he's been training with us for a few weeks so hopefully go some amount of fitness. I don't know what it says though that we had him training with us for a few weeks and still sent Hernandez out onto the pitch. Hopefully we were trying to avoid to have to pay for both of them if we could rather than Hernandez being assessed as more useful than Rousillon.

I imagine he wasn't match fit, whereas Hernandez was.

Bell and Burke were injured on the 1st November. I imagine after that game we then decided to sign a free agent defender, and it's taken this long to get Rousillon in and up to speed.
