Noticed that some brackley fans booed us when our name came out. Bit random.
I noticed that also. Perhaps they hate Nathan Jones as well  :D

Proper Plum tie for us, Chelsea will almost certainly not pick their very strongest team so giving us an outside chance of an upset
    Guaranteed a bumper crowd

Brackley/Boreham Wood .. great effort to get to the 3rd round, then what happens ?

Any predictions on what the ticket requirements will be? Points first, then season tickets?

So with Chelsea allowed 15% of the capacity?that’s got to probably work out at having the JSS and the end block or two of the West Upper?
Either that or they may be given some of the East Stand... There have been a few other FA Cup games against minor opposition where they got that section as well - Easier to do as well for a Cup game no doubt, as the club dont have to worry about Season Ticket Holders etc.
The rule is up to 15%, but this can be restricted by the Safety Advisory Group.  Can’t see any reason why we would or should want to give them any more than the Jimmy Seed.

EDIT: Chelsea can ask for 15%, but they have to be available in a “fully segregated area” and they have to ask within 4 days of the draw.   The Club can simply say only the JS would be fully segregated.

No way he is suited to the English professional football league.  I have watched him on a stream for a short time and urge others to do the same. Then a few others might also join the campaign against him joining.

Will that one entice you out of your cup boycott?

Typical, try to go to all the cup matches no matter who we draw. And I am away in Scotland that weekend. Told me mates we would draw a cracker now i can't go.

Wonder if a few of those cup stay aways will for this one.

Pompey v Arsenal has that 1930's old First Division feel to it

Will go straight to season ticket I’d imagine, so that people can buy their ST seats, but might not be able to buy many (if any) extras at that first stage. Think that’s what it was for the play off semi final

Would have preferred it away to tick another ground off but home will do nicely.
Blimey, the amount of times I’ve seen us play at Stamford Bridge must be close to double figures.
You’re old. There’s a whole generation that’s never seen us at at prem ground. Not sure how old Martin is, mind 🤣
I’ve done 72/92 current grounds of which 9 of the 20 outstanding grounds are in the Prem. Of the 9 outstanding in the Prem 6 of those have since moved to a new ground having been to the old so call it 78 if you like.

Ticket prices of £42+ put me off in the Prem years and our last visit there was also in 2006? Would imagine a large section of our support has never seen us play there.

My son for instance. Born in 2003 & probably starting taking him in 2006 or 2007. Only started taking him to away games in 2008. Seen us at Fulham & Man U in the cup but no other Prem teams. Gutted that we we finally played West Ham it was under lockdown rules.

Funnily though he is buzzing for this one. When I asked wouldn't he have preferred it at Stamford Bridge he said no because we probably wouldn't have got a ticket.

  • Couldn't ask for a better tie, fantastic.

Anyone’s who’s been criticising the Fans’ Bar this season will be eating their words after this game. This is the occasion the lads and lasses behind the bar have been preparing for!

Fantastic draw and a very strong possibility of a Sold Out Valley. Can’t ask for better than that

I really hope we take this one seriously, and for once I think we have the manager that might just do that. If we can somehow scrape a 0-0 draw and get them back to theirs for a proper thrashing we'll be doing well. But it'll be so much more interesting than taking two legs to beat the local paper mill boys.

We will put our strongest side out for this one I’d assume

Oh, that's a shame. Oh well, I suppose we can take them to penalties then, get them in front of the Covered End and anything can happen.
