Well the wall of stewards at Gate 21 yesterday continues to grow with yellow and blue and red jackets with green jacketed superviser. Question when gate can be opened on the other side where are the stewards?
Yesterday looked like around 10 police around the control room in JS & WS corner, presume these are paid for by the club, why aren't they standing in Away end?
Question for club and police is JS stand a Police No Go zone with Millwall fans?
I'm trying to think if there are other areas parts of UK which are Police No Go zones?
where they don't go as it may agiate the public or sit and wait 4 minutes before responding?
worrying response from the police why they stood back from arresting the Millwall fans attacking Charlton fans at Gate 21, would police stand back for 4 minutes when someone is attacked in a street? bank is raided?
No one has been able to answer what 300 police actually did or where they were at Millwall game or what it cost? How many were just sat in white vans doing nothing?
I was walking down the hill yesterday before turning off to walk towards the Sam Bartrum gate @ 2.15pm, five white vans with sirens blaring came down the hill in the direction of Royal Oak, was there trouble?4 -
To stop the home fans from marauding down to the gate looking for agg with the away fans .
I’m guessing they now block the exit side from the Jimmy Seed Stand to that no go zone .
what actually is there for the away fans , are there toilets or just nothing1 -

I think the point being made was that they were the wrong side of the fence.

I was referring to the looking intimidating part of the post. Presumably they were standing on the side of the gate they were instructed to. I don’t know why anymore than you or off it. I just don’t see the need to ridicule or take the piss of a bunch of people doing what they’ve been told to do.0

I certainly was not, and it does not appear that way with @Off_it

But the way they're all stood there like that you would think there expecting trouble, and from the East Stand side of the gate. It just looks very odd.1 -

https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/2025/october/16/road-closures-millwall-161025/
This isn't about the Met having a new treatment for policing London derbies, it's about the way they police Millwall away games in London.
They seem to be saying they can't control them any other way. Which seems to fly in the face of what their (tamer) fans tell us on here that they're all angels now.
Anyway, closing a few roads at Palace and QPR isn't the same as what happened at The Valley. The geography of our ground meant that just about all of our home fans were dangerously funnelled down one road and therefore inconvenienced in some way,all so as to give Millwall favourable treatment.
Not entirely the same at QPR or Palace where all their stands aren't emptying out into one bottleneck.
So, even more reason to hold Millwall back at the Valley than elsewhere , because of the potentially dangerous bottle neck they manufactured.1 -

This is a show of 'look we're doing something'.
The stewards in future for 'risk' games should be some either side of the gate.1 -

I thought it looked very odd as we were leaving. There really is no need at all... unless you have dickhead fans on both sides goading each other all game and offering each other out...

It’s good to see the thread is still running – which indicates the strength of feeling – but inevitably we are short on practical ideas for doing something about it. I do understand that when it comes to pushing back on the police people, for various reasons, feel a bit cowed. FWIW, here are some thoughts on how we could proceed.
I think we have maximum leverage if we, the fans are addressing the police directly as citizens.
The club, all clubs, will feel their hands are tied. They run a commercial business which requires active and extensive police cooperation, which nowadays is paid for by the taxpayer. When planning matches with the police, the voice of the fans is filtered, diluted, because it is presented by representatives of organised groups, who in turn need to maintain good relations with their club.
If, however, the police are addressed by a very large number of angry citizens, who among many other things in their lives, are football fans, the dynamic changes.
So the best way to do that is for the organised groups of fans (CAST, FAB, supporter clubs) to get together and make their own representation to the police. A clear set of demands (principally, hold back Milwall, not home fans) tabled, and with evidence that the groups have a mandate for these demands from their members. Ideally, as I’ve said before, MP Matt Pennycook should back the approach. If this is now happening at Palace and QPR we can reach out to their supporters‘ trusts too (I’ve got a long standing contact with QPR thanks to the Olympic Stadium Coalition, although you won’t be surprised to hear the Palace ST at the time were a useless flock of pathetic sheep).
Comments, please?

I’ve made my point many times - what makes Millwall and this police force special ? Why does it happen nowhere else in the country and it is unacceptable - if that is asked by the fan groups mentioned above and answered, we may get somewhere - if it isn’t then they will go round and round in circles - as I said from the outset - use your voice properly CAST etc or don’t bother0
