Kone is everything we want Leaburn to be and TC is not a striker.

Second best all over the park and midfield has no creativity.
We dominated the ball from 25 mins onwards. Didn’t do enough with it but saying second best everywhere is an overreaction to a game we are very much still in.

Smyth has decent for them. Giving Ramsay as many problems as any opponent he's faced.

HT 1-0 … don’t think we done to bad the first 20 was always going to be QPR after last week but Campbell and Leaburn we should be 1-2 up … and that’s the fine line between 0 points and 3 points …. … time to give Olaofe and Kelman a run as a partnership
They nearly scored from a free kick bar a great save,a mis kick great chance and hit the post but we should be 1-2 up yeah ok the levels of delusion are amazing we need some seriously more potent better calibre players upfront and midfield.

Assume you’re partly talking about winning headers but he’s won 2 to Leaburn’s 5

Without scapegoating TC, I think he needs some time out of the team, I'd like to see him being the one to come on as a sub and run at tired legs. Think it will help him create more

Got into the game with 15 mins to go but by then they'd scored and they can sit back a bit more. They have some pacey players; probably suits them to catch us on the break.

Leaburn unlucky with his effort. Couldn't do much else than get a foot to it. Against us & the other team scores it seems though.

Ref letting a lot of things go which I prefer to keep blowing for little niggly fouls.

Keep going as we were & I think we can nick a point. Although if they get a second I think it will be game over as this ream doesn't have many goals in them. Still nothing created from open play & relying on set pieces to score.

Godden's experience is greatly missed and Jones might need to rethink his no loans policy on Monday
Can’t see what Godden would have done so far  . It’s the supply and awful set pieces that have been the worst aspect of our play going forward .
I’m not Sure what Olaife has to do to get a game ?

Play better than he did on Tuesday?

Kaminski could have done better for the goal.

Why he tried to save that with his feet i don't know.
Sky saying he had "no chance" and it was "a brilliant finish". Seemed to go straight at him - and through him.

A view from the home end.

Would bring Campbell off, not doing enough for me.

Torture watching from the other end.

To be fair, he's the one who is making the opposition defences tired, by usually running at them, because he's out one true paceful option in the team.

Leaburn can possibly work them in the air, but then we're playing hoofball, but otherwise you have to question whether Olaofe or Kelman would work the opposition defence enough to cause problems later in the match.

In commentary with QPR's house commentators you'd think QPR are world beaters. Apart from the goal we have more than matched them. But as others have said- it's the taking of chances that needs to get better.
For endeavour and effort we are good but we need a killer striker to take those chances.

What chances? TC and Miles are living off scraps
  • Just seen the goal again, goalkeeper confirmed as shit. We desperately need better.
Not sure that is true but he certainly doesn't look any better than Mannion. And he certainly doesn't take a cross as well as Mannion did.

I don't think he takes a cross at all

    That's the qpr fan/co commentator.

Not sure what others think but it was very close to him - i felt he could have done better

And opponents have twigged that we like hitting it to Jones at the back post

We need a striker to get the ball at feet and hold it up to allow our midfield to get up the field.

The aimless long ball and hopeful flick on caused us to be dragged out of shape and get caught on the counter for their goal, but also means that we’re not getting enough players further up the field.

I think there’s a serious lack of aggression in our forward line. We look easily held at bay.

Tanto's game is seemingly about working hard and using physicality, I don't see why it can't be him, although did no favours for himself against Cambridge

Think our problem lies with our midfield and lack of creativity. TC the skape goat but without him in that half, we offer even less than we have.

You'd hope with his size, that it could be Leaburn with that role, he's got the strength to hold it up, to bring others into play. But he tends to either flick it on to no one, or turns and runs into a cul-de-sac

Keep it together after half time, equalise half way through and QPR suspect fitness levels come into play and we get a winner late on.

Having TC up front is like playing with 10 men - he’s never going to score. We need something else up top.
Produced two of our three best moments. Take TC off and you’ll make QPR very happy.

what Was the second one? He’s playing striker and isn’t going to score that’s all that should matter. 4 games and he’s not looked like scoring once.

No one did themselves any favours against Cambridge, best off forgetting that performance, as imagine if you take one, maybe two from that team and put it with the "First eleven" you'd hopefully get a much better showing from them.

If you didnt, thats when I'd be massively concerned

For balance too, I also think Sonny Carey is having a shocker. Think bringing Knibbs on would also be a smart idea

For a big guy I don't think he imposes himself enough.
